"We were warmly welcomed at the top of the stairs on a rainy Tuesday afternoon by a lovely young waitress, who quickly offered us a window seat so we could enjoy the view. We decided to order some crispy fried calamari and whitebait. I had a tough time choosing between four main course options, and the same waitress seemed to be having a similar dilemma, which was amusing. After I shared my preferences with her, she recommended the fish cake, claiming it was simply delicious. I took her advice, and from the very first bite, I was absolutely enchanted! The sauce was exquisite and tasted remarkable, and the portion of fish was generous. I can’t wait to return, and I’ll definitely choose the fish cake again! Thank you for making my lunch a truly delightful experience!"

Walking past on a lovely warm spring evening, thought how lovely it would be to sit outside and eat on the terrace. Glad we did, had a lovely meal (sea bass for me, sea food tikka masala for hubby), couple of glasses of wine....perfect

Well it's the first time my husband and I have visited Whitstable and this restaurant and we both loved the food. The most expensive fish and chips we have ever had but worth every penny. Would definitely go back if we visit area again.

I love this place. the personal is friendly and eating is amazing. I love the oysters and so many other dishes that I find it really hard to choose. this is the place where I visit all my visitors for a meal (to visit an excuse for me) and they all want to return.

I took my mother to Crab and Winkle because she loves seafood. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It offers a stunning view of the harbor, and the food is excellent. I'm not the biggest fan of fish, but I found several appealing options on the menu. I would definitely recommend visiting, and we will certainly return.

My daughter's birthday dinner was perfect at one of the best fish restaurants! They have a great selection, so if you enjoy fish, you're in for a treat. The staff was courteous and very attentive to our needs, and I would definitely recommend it. I made the reservation by phone, and everything went smoothly, which is impressive because I can be quite particular. Thank you so much to Crab and Winkle! I hope to visit again very soon.

I could've given star plus, plus for the rating! Never dined in a fish restaurant like this before! We tried our first natural oysters! For the main, had my best brown crab. Not that often we can get octopus claws in a fish restaurant unless you go to a Greek restaurant in England. Mussels were amazing too! In addition to this, every staff member was so friendly and helpful! We were glad we found it to celebrate our wedding anniversary!
