Crannagh Bistro - Carta

Delicious roast beef dinner. Excellent. Lovely apple tart and great coffee. Service a wee bit slow but we will definitely return. Great location by river Bann. Restaurant cosy.

Stayed in the Crannagh accommodation in August for a week and visited the restaurant several times for dinner. Excellent food, exceptional service and good value for money- highly recommended.

I arrived at the restaurant for a meal after making a reservation. The place was not busy, but we waited for over 15 minutes without being acknowledged or having our order taken. We decided to leave and will not be returning. The staff seemed uninterested in taking our orders. Ver carta

I cannot say enough about how great it was to have lunch here first time out since lockdown! The staff were so amazing and the sanitation and temp check on entering made us all feel so safe. The food was great as usual and it was such a relaxing experience. We will certainly be back.

First time visiting this restaurant with a friend, First class safety procedures taking your temperature before being seated, Friendly staff, Rosalyn showed us to our table, and was very attentive, lovely views of the river, so relaxing. Food was excellent, and at very affordable prices. Will be back for sure

Called in for lunch on 14/7/20. I have to say the customer safety procedures were excellent and capably carried out by staff. Temp check on arrival, clean surfaces, directional arrows, social distancing at tables, drinks delivered on trays which we off-loaded ourselves to minimise contact.All-in-all a wonderfully relaxed experience accompanied by fantastic food and service.Well done Ver carta

We called in for dinner without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. Temperature checks were sensitively and discreetly carried out along with a sign in and hand sanitising. The table had a lovely view and the menu was great. We had a good wait for drinks but the staff were meticulous with the COVID measures which obviously adds a lot of extra work. Upon arrival, we were ignored and had to wait to be served. Eventually, a friendly young waiter showed us outside and informed us that we could have our dogs with us. However, when a different staff member (an older male) brought our coffees, he rudely informed us that dogs were not allowed. He then walked off without taking our order. After waiting another 15 minutes with no service, we went inside to inquire, only to be rudely told by the older waiter that we had to sit inside. When we went to pay, the same waiter was once again rude to us, displaying a lack of customer service. It appears he does not want to work there. I went to this restaurant for breakfast this morning with five others. We ordered our food and tea, but the tea took fifteen minutes to come out and was cold. The dishes were brought out slowly, one at a time, by the same server. One of our orders was wrong, even though my son repeated it to the server twice. The service was very slow and all six meals arrived at different times, with mine being cold. When I went inside to complain, I saw multiple servers just standing around chatting. I handed one of them my cold plate and went back to my table outside, where we were the only customers. The meals were small, one consisting of just three mini pancakes.
