Crazy Homies - Carta

Crazy Homies reminds me of a student flat – colourful, friendly but goosebumpingly cold due to the lack of heating. The savoury menu has some interesting seafood options such as the scallop tacos.

This place is incredibly bad. I'm surprised it's still open. The staff at Crazy Homies were the rudest I've ever encountered. The food was mediocre and the service was nonexistent. Save your money and avoid this place.

I have been several times before, but I recently went to cinco de mayo, which I think is a kind of Mexican celebrations she celebrates to get rid of the french. I use it as excuse to eat an unpleasant amount of nachos and tacos washed with at least three to many margaritas.

Crazy Homies has the best nachos in London. While other establishments try to pass off nacho flavoured Doritos covered in half melted cheese as the real deal, Crazy Homies actually makes their tortilla chips by hand, daily. at the top there are cozy seating on the bar and the room is filled with cozy furniture and eclectic decorations and kink kisses. the seating area is perfect for tables of 2-4 people, but a bit more. but below there is another bar and larger tables that are great for larger groups. the food is delicious and comes in decent portions; the vegetarian burrito is a personal favorite. the cocktails are absolutely delicious, I recommend the tommy’s margarita. They have a small selection of Mexican beer if Tequila cocktails are not their ding but do not interfere with the wee.

Crazy Homies is crazy, no doubt about it. Whatever you think about the name and/or the decor though, I can't fault the cuisine. The place is routinely lauded as some of the city's best Mexican, and for this American food blogger abroad, I'd have to agree. In fact, the only negative part about my experience was realising that I lived about 15 minute walk away from the place for 3 years, and it took me having an American visitor/new UK transplant who was desperately missing black beans, to finally go.
