"We were a party of five hoping for a quick lunch after a morning at The Louvre. Crepes seemed an obvious choice. We arrived and they suggested we sit upstairs. The restaurant was well under half full. We were given menus quickly and then we...waited. We were unable to catch the eye of the two waitresses, neither of whom were busy. Eventually I flagged one down by waving my arm, but minutes had passed. We ordered crepes and a dessert crepe. Waited. Waited. Waited. minutes had passed. We had tried numerous times to get attention, but the waitresses were, I’m not joking, deliberately looking around us (it was obvious). I had to stand up and go and speak with one, and asked her if she knew how long our food would be. “No”, she said. I looked at her a bit dumbfounded. I pointed out that people who had arrived after us had already eaten and were leaving. She claimed that was because we had a ‘large table’...we were five, they were three. I asked to cancel the dessert crepe, as we were not going to have time to eat it. This was apparently impossible, as it would already have been cooked (this response from the waitress who didn’t know when our mains would be ready). I pointed out that this was unlikely, as surely they would not have cooked the dessert crepe prior to the mains even being ready. The waitress simply told me I was wrong. The waitress then seemed really annoyed, and started throwing plates and cutlery roughly around in the clean-up area, and angrily said something in French into the microphone to the kitchen. Our meals arrived five minutes later, and were average. The kind of things I cook up for the kids on a Saturday morning in minutes, when hungover. We didn’t wait around for them to attempt to deliver the dessert crepe, and they didn’t attempt to charge for it. On the way out there was a half-sincere apology, but it was well past too late. There can be no other explanation other than they don’t like English-speaking (but Australian) tourists. We aren’t horrible tourists and we do our best to learn the basic pleasantries. Given they are in a tourist area this seems ridiculous, but we were treated with contempt straight away. The average food was definitely not worth the hour and a half we spent there."

this restaurant is not serious. I tried to make a reservation two days in advance, in addition to confirming the booking, I had to call several times without reply. At some point I have the restaurant for trying to eat lunchtime, and it was closed. there was no advertising before the door. there were several customers waiting outside and no one had a warning of the situation. We went in one lunch time when the place was almost full. The menu is simple and we went for the set menu with savoury galette, sweet crepe and drink. After our mains plate was taken away it was near impossible to grab the waiters...attention to ask where our dessert crepe was. All the waiters avoided eye contact and even when I was clearly looking to ask something ignored me. They seemed to be very rude and we had to go up and ask where our crepe was. The food was nice but service left a bad taste.

Took a min Uber ride just to eat here and was disappointed. The restaurant itself is located in a good area, clean and well decorated. I was seated quickly as there were only a hand full of people at the time. Nothing good or...bad to say about wait staff they were just there doing their jobs nothing extraordinary and nothing to rave about. The food LOOKS great but lacks luster, I thought I would be enjoying one of the best crapes of my life coming from Paris, France and yet was sorely mistaken. The best crepe I’ve had is in Arcata, CA, USA Renatas Crêperie not even the French come close!
