Creperie La Madeleine

Delicious, authentic, French crepes, served in a warm, charming atmosphere! Beautiful presentation and excellent service!

They have Crepes made out of buckwheat. The waitress and their website explains, that they cannot guarantee a 100% gluten-free dish because cross contamination in their buckwheat flour is possible. Me and my celiac brother hadn’t had any problems afterwards.

In this little cute restaurant you can have several good crepes but they are really expensive (10-15€ each). Waiters are really kind, helping and trying to understand foreigners, but they are not fast. Menus are only in german so waiter had to translate us some...words to English. Ver carta

The server forgot part of my order and the main dish my wife wanted wasn't available for some unexplained reason, although it was only ratatouille? Vegetables? But the food we got was quite good--especially the creme fraiche, epinard baked potato. We'd go back and try...it again, but have lowered our expectations.

The prices at this Creperie are quite steep (most Galettes more than 10 Euros) so one would expect really excellent food. Which it is not. The Galettes we had were too thick and slightly burnt. The composition of ingredients needs to be refined more (we...had a 4 fromage which had way too much Roquefort and a Truffes which had some quite generous slices of a Truffle on it, but it was apparently of very bad quality I couldn 't taste any of it). Service is quite slow and reserved. The interior is cosy, though.

I couldn't drink it. my man said his coffee was okay, but not brilliant. there was no decent black tea to have, the only offer was earl grey, which is why I had the hot choir. the waitress nearly threw down the tellers before us; in the did, the coffee of my man thrown into his saucer when she served. Our first day in Potsdam was very sunny. We looked for a restaurant next to our B&B and we found Creperie La Madeleine. With a pleasant terrace under the linden (in Lindenstrasse, normal ! and large red umbrellas. We enjoyed some dishes (salade normande, crepe...nordique, breton cider but not all : crepe complete and with banana and chocolate were too stuffy. Service was nice but a bit too long. Inside there is a cosy and authentic creperie room. Toilets are nicely decorated, it 's unusual enough to be stressed. Eventually : not so cheap for a creperie.

excellent! I'm vegan as they all learn with my reviews soon. the ratatouille is excellent. personally I don't like something that is very salty, but I added a dash of the bottom sea salt and it made the experience and taste that. much better. this is not an American salt swan, it is a European salt swan. that means very little. excellent service, amazing vegan crepp under the teller, and next time I will take photo. in any case it is worth checking. also their waving only a few, but they are very good wein through the glass options. bon appétit, stay healthy stay safe, check this place! very well done.
