"Fabulous place to stay. Traditional country pub with amazing food, friendly staff. The room was a good size with lots of little extra’s, and breakfast was freshly cooked and all local produce! Stayed for 2 nights as we were going to a wedding, so glad we found it, would definitely stay again!"

We had cheesy chips and cheesy garlic bread. Tasty and simple. They could do with having some starters on the menu- we were looking for a snack/light meal but couldn't get anything else. Beautiful setting and lovely and attentive bar staff.

Lovely pub, well maintained gardens, cosy interior. The beer is top notch the food is excellent value for down south. The landlady staff are very accommodating food-wise can amend the dishes to suit their customers. One of our favourite stops for lunch a drink.
