We wanted a quick bite and didn't want to bother with tourist menus of regular restaurants. Here, we were very satisfied with the fresh baguette sandwiches tasty quiche. Good value, but only a few seats you can take the food as to-go and...eat by the beautiful canals.

A very helpful patron provides excellent fresh filled baguettes and other take-away cakes, etc. Ideal if you don't want a restaurant meal but just something to eat in the park over the river. There are a couple of tables just outside, but the street is...so busy that it doesn't seem to be ideal to sit there.

Not sure what opening hours are, the first couple of times we passed it was closed, we feared it had gone out of business. But no, eventually we caught it open and had a couple of baguettes etc and drinks to enjoy a lazy lunch...in the park by the bank in the middle of the river. Very helpful and informative patron,but unfortunately does not take card payments.

This is a great spot if you need to get a quick lunch. There are a couple of small tables outside but this is really a very small take away kind of place. There is no inside' as you walk up to the case and...order your lunch. We took away our lunch a large brioche sandwich with tuna that also had thinly sliced red onion, lettuce, tomato, etc., and a Marguerite Panini that was served heated and had fresh and sun-dried tomatoes, basil and cheese. Both sandwiches were very tasty. Pre-made sandwiches are in the display case so you have a good idea of how big they are and what they include before you order the man running the shop is very friendly and also speaks English.
