Food was another level ! Lovely service and nice ambience. Good quality fish and chips , awesome burger . Can’t wait to go back again

Had an amazing afternoon tea in June and visited again on Sunday , Sunday lunch was very nice , staff are all lovely and helpful, even got a doggy bag !

Excellent food and service. I had the fish and chips and the fish was lovely and fresh and the batter lovely and crispy. My husband had the venison pie which was really tasty too. The place is well kept and lovely and clean. Ver carta

Great service. Nice atmosphere and excellent food. Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely return . Had the Fish and chips and minty peas which were divine My wife had the salmon with samphire which she loved too. All round excellent

First time visiting this pub well worth the visit gorgeous Sunday dinner cooked to perfection can recommend deserts too especially the ruhbarb and apple crumble locally sourced ingredients well worth a visit we will be back Oh and thanks for the doggie bag chef

Had a very pleasant evening, beautiful decor and has a very cosy atmosphere. Service and staff were very friendly. Had the halloumi burger which was delicious with very tasty fries and all was hot and good portion sizes. Dessert was the Oreo brownie which was well presented and was delicious. The food was good value for the money and had an enjoyable evening. Ver carta

Nice clean pub, nice bar staff but was deserted when we visited on a Friday lunchtime. We ordered Welsh Rarebit with red onion chutney which I thought would be served in a little pot on the side but in actual fact the chutney was spread thickly on the ciabata with a small amount of rarebit mix on top. Not good unless you happen to like chutney on toast and not much rarebit, disappointing.

What a fabulous place! The staff are all attentive without being overbearing, kind, courteous and clearly love their job. The food was out of this world. This is our second visit but the first time we took our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren (age 4 and 7). The children’s meals were equally tasty and duly polished off by hungry tummies! They also appreciated the colouring books and crayons. A final note to praise the cleanliness of the washroom facilities. Always a bonus

First time visiting as heard good reviews. Lovely decor, friendly staff. Food was nice although beef fatty but was given more after I asked. I asked for a side plate for my 1 year old to have some of our roast dinners but was asked if we wanted a Yorkshire pudding for him, we gratefully accepted. On leaving the pub we reviewed the receipt and had been charged £2 for this Yorkshire pudding!! That is extortionate especially as it had very much been implied that it would be a freebie, he's only 1! Disappointed and likely won't return. Ver carta
