"Myself and family stopped of here for dinner on the way home and wish we never did. Firstly we ordered three Pepsi max and one J20. 10 mins later the rude waitress (who name was Hannah I believe) came up to us and said they haven't got any Pepsi max just coke. So we got that changed. We then ordered our meal, 25 minutes later the same rude waitress came over and said the pie I ordered has now sold out so I need to pick something else. I wouldn't of minded but it had already been 25 mins by this point and only just telling me this now. Then nearly 30 minutes later our food finally arrived, Two gammon's came right, my gammon came with sweet potato fries which I did not order. When I questioned it they said they would fix the mistake but it would be another 10 mins. By this point it was nearly an hour after we first but the order in and did not want to wait any longer. We will not be going back there."

"prawn cocktail at £9 was served with smoked paprika and a piece of cheap white brot and quantity garnel not justified this price. Pork-Loin special was so overpriced at £16 and bad in quality and amount of food that my friend gave. I had some of their chips, no succession when I didn't want to waste any more money. so disappointing that we decided as a group of 4 that we do not go back to this pub for eating. also on the way in there was a dog sitting on one of the chairs in the lounge with his bum on the chair pad. not the healthiest and cleanest sights when visiting a pub for a meal. I do not object that dogs are in pubs, especially in cornwall, as is usual, but they should be kept on the floor."

"This slightly off the beaten track restaurant was a bit of a surprise to find (close to Perranuthnoe) but proved a very decent find. It always seemed busy when we passed and, sure enough, it was busy on the Thursday evening we ate. Very inexpensive...buffet with more than the routine Chinese food we have come to expect from such establishments. We all had a most enjoyable meal. Staff friendly and very mindful of Covid procedures too. Definitely worth the price but don't expect high class fayre."

"Very busy and noisy pub. Just what the landlord needs. We opted to eat in the conservatory, pie and chips and mushy peas. Really nice. Normally have salt and vinegar on me chips, but not this time, really nice tasting chips. And the mushy peas had an extra something, really nice. Found out afterwards, it was a bit of mint mixed in. Its a bit far to go back, just under 400 miles, but worth a visit if your on holiday like we were. Service: Dine in"
