"So far we have always been very satisfied with food and service. This time, the good impression so far has received a small dent. 1. Furnace potato not even and was served lukewarm. 2. Steak (200g only approx. 1cm thick than 2 small round pieces connected only by some fat veins, tastefully rather average, visually not very appealing. 3. "professional hospitality and family flair herr sego and his manschaft do everything for the guests. they feel comfortable in this house from the first looks. the house is located directly on the tegernsee, the road that they notice only when leaving the house. the high light is every evening the restaurant and the large bar, perfect to make the evening sound pleasant. eating in the restaurant are lovingly prepared and of excellent quality. they realize that the cook loves his call. to the birthday of my wife, the houseman took it to congratulate my wife personally to hand over to her an essentiality of the house. the wine card is well sorted and the bar is simply cozy. it was nice days and not just because of the good weather. this house is recommended only for its comfort, the atmosphere and the simple operation for everyone. a thank you for herrn sego and team."

"Eigentlich würde ich das Restaurant mit "gut" bewerten.Leider gibt es diesen Button nicht und "sehr gut" ist zu hoch bewertet. Was aber nicht an den Speisen liegt. Die Karte bietet viel Abwechslung und die beiden Gerichte, die mein Mann und ich gewählt hatten, gut gekocht und angerichtet. Allerdings auch nicht ganz günstig. Was zur Abwertung führt ist der Service. Der fesche, ältere Ober in Tracht machte nämlich nicht den Eindruck, als hätte er uns ( und die anderen Gäste) gerne bedient. Eher barsche und kurze Fragen, was gewählt wurde und ob es recht war.Besonders freundlich war das nicht.Einem Gast am Nebentisch war die Jacke herunter gefallen und er stieg lieber ein paar Mal mit einem großen Schritt drüber, als sie aufzuheben.Bei der nächsten Durchreise suchen wir uns ein anderes Lokal."

"A fabulous place to sit outside by the lake and have a leisurely meal. It has all the charm of a traditional seaside restaurant. It gets quite crowded when the weather is nice so expect to share a table (picnic style with long benches). The wait staff seemed a bit harried but they did a good job at getting things accomplished. The menu is traditional Bavarian fare, yet I saw some salads go by to another table that looked wonderful. I was immediately drawn to one of my favorite entrees, the schweinhaxe. Not so healthy, but ever so good. And it was quite tender and easy to cut and digest. It comes with a Knodle, like bread stuffing. My table mates wanted to have me share some of the tasty fatty skin and since I only had a sliver I was glad to share. It came accompanied with a side of potato salad, German style. The only complaint I'd have is that the food was too salty and I tasted the salt hours later. The setting is just beautiful and besides the backdrop of the lakeside there is the large classic monastery right in back."
