"This was our first visit. I have to remind myself that this is a training environment for students but there should be someone in charge, who is identifiable to direct the students on how to present a menu and how to place a dish in front of customers. However, four courses for £35, amuse bouche counted for one course. Amouse bouche lacked any seasoning, orzo starter, well cooked but again lacked seasoning. My wife had fish, Coley, which was nice. I had chicken breast on a bed of curry sauce with hassleback potatoes. My whole dish was luke warm at best, the curry sauce was overpowering, and the hassleback potatoes were not crispy. The chicken was lovely and moist and I ordered a side of triple cooked chips which were super hot, expensive at £4, I only wish the rest of my dish was that hot. I had cheese and biscuits which consisted of Brie, blue cheese and cheddar together with chutney. My wife had Pain Perdue which was well presented and tasty. The restaurant is more like a cafe, not cosy, so don't choose it if you want a romantic evening. Overall would I go again? probably not. If you are ever near the Lake district try to book a table in the restaurant at Kendal College. On a final note; there is parking on an evening next to the college. Drive up to the barrier and press the call button, security will let you in. The barrier opens automatically on exit."

"The food was excellent and beautifully presented. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around £10-20. I would rate the food and service both at a 5, while the atmosphere gets a solid 4. I highly recommend the Thali and think it's an excellent choice for vegetarians, as the restaurant features a dedicated vegetarian menu with clearly labeled dishes. There is plenty of free parking available as well."

"We finally found the perfect restaurant. It was our first time ordering from here and the food was authentic and delicious, with a great delivery service. "I had an exhausting dinner that lasted three hours. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, and when it did, it wasn't what we ordered. I had to go to the kitchen myself to speak with the chefs in order to get our order corrected. Additionally, I had to return to the parking meter to add more money, as I had suspected that two hours wouldn’t be enough for dinner."

"Me and my wife go there quite often for food, I can honestly say we’ve never had a bad meal from there. The food is always tasty and there’s plenty on the menu, the treacle pudding and custard is a must for dessert. Also the staff and owners are very friend and welcoming."
