Curry Leaf - Carta

Two curries were delivered via Just Eat for The Curry Leaf in Eastbourne. We have had a curry from here before with no problems, this time the korma was so watered down it was tasteless, the lamb madras was ultra hot

Absolute s××t when turned, food was cold and a dish missing when I complained was told send back and I shall microwave to make hot, extremely rude man on phone, will not be using again and would advise other people to go else where.

Food fantastic, staff attentive and meet me at the door and even knew what my order was. Chef came out and talked to me about the food which was a nice touch. Go here and you won't need anywhere else. Impressive. Chicken Tikka Dupiaza and mushroom rice. Ver carta

Just had our first delivery from Curry Leaf. We were really pleased with our meal, it was delivered, hot, with extras that we did not order, (free) popadom, mango pickle and yogurt. We will certainly order again. Really excellent for the price. Thank you Curry Leaf…

We had a take away delivered. We've had a meal from here a couple of times. My dansak this time was watery whereas it should have been thick with lentils. The pasanda tasted of coconut more than anything else. The pilau rice tasted like plain over boiled rice. Otherwise all ok. Ha ha.

Wow I have just had the most amazing King Prawn Balti ever!!! on a diet so had to skip the bread, rice and sundries but the quality and quantity of the main event was top shelf. The prawn was cooked butterfly style, lovely and juicy, the sauce was quite mild and very moreish. Had it with a dry veg dish excellent. Would definately reccommen based on my visit really nice staff, very attentive. The place itself had an authentica feel to it Ver carta

Went out for a curry after all of this Covid malarkey. Been here before and happy to go back again. Welcome greeting as soon as we went in. Nice, smiley staff. Had a dhansak, as this is always my measure of how good the curries are. I wasn’t disappointed. Plenty of sauce and chicken. The sauce was both sweet and sour as a dhansak should be. Very tasty. Good rice and keema naan. Overall, the meal was great. Will I/we go again definitely.

The food was all cooked fresh and was really nice. Naan bread was squishy and fab. Loved the korai and the dansak. Tikka masala wasnt my favourite. Too sweet and not enough depth really. All of the chicken was melt in the mouth and a great amount of it in each dish. Rice was well cooked. Mint sauce was very watery sadly. Onion bhajis were crispy and well fried. Nice bombay potatoes, all cooked though, no rawness. Salad was fresh. Guy indoors was friendly. Overall very happy with my food

Ordered from Uber Eats, and lesson learnt to never come here again. They put 30 odd quid worth of food into a brown bag using metal and cardboard containers and used their 1 brain cell to decide that a delivery driver on a BIKE would be a genius way of ensuring the safe delivery of our food. The bag arrived with us and resembled the contents of my child 's nappy. When I phoned the restaurant, instead.of being apologetic the cook screamed not our problem multiple times down the phone and refused to take any accountability. I understand this happened I 'm transit, but who packaged it that way in the first place!? Take a proportion of the accountability! Not even an apology was given, just told... Ver carta
