After being seated between a screaming child and a band that was blaring out Amy Winehouse very loudly, and after having waited for what seemed ages without being asked what we wanted to drink or eat, we left. Didn’t get a good impression of the place, maybe the food would have been great but first impressions count. We are not on Pantelleria for long so every meal experience counts, especially after a year of lockdown. Disappointing.

When in Ghedir, there is no choice but eat at Andrea. We had a light lunch. Pleasant setting with a seaview. The two pasta dishes were quite good one with fresh tomatoes, the other (better) with a slightly spicy tomato sauce and lobster. The service was incredibly slow; many guests arriving and ordering well after us got their food before us. We were told that this is due to pasta cooking time, but since others had pasta as well, it was more of an excuse. Reasonable prices, but wouldn’t go again.

Locale carino vista mare, abbiamo ordinato una tataki di tonno, ci aspettavamo che il tonno fosse lievemente scottato come dovrebbe essere, ma anzi era stracotto dopodiché abbiamo avuto una pessima esperienza con una delle cameriere del locale, che ha mostrato una maleducazione disarmante, cacciandoci dal tavolo a fine pasto pre caffè, poiché “riservato” (quando in realtà non lo era) e letteralmente lanciandoci il caffè ordinato in seguito. Ieri sera io e il mio compagno abbiamo cenato qui e per un paio d’ore siamo rimasti immersi nella bellezza e in un’atmosfera fuori dal tempo; abbiamo mangiato benissimo tra le altre cose pasta alla genovese eccezionale e un fritto di cappuccetti leggerissimo e siamo stati coccolati da Nicola e Paola con professionalità e gentilezza rara anche con il nostro cagnolino . Un posto che consiglio vivamente, anche per il rapporto qualità prezzo, sperando al contempo che non diventi meta di turismo di massa, che ne rovinerebbe l’atmosfera. Roberta Rallo

Il locale è molto carino e in un posto bellissimo peccato che manca tutto ciò che un bar così dovrebbe avere. Le uniche cose che offrono sono coca cola, aranciata e caffè (non macchiato perché non hanno manco il latte). Il servizio è pessimo, basti pensare che non c’è un menù (in quanto non c’è nulla da offrire) e accanto al caffè non è stato dato neanche un bicchiere d’acqua. Inoltre nonostante sia quasi tutto vuoto, non hanno manco la gentilezza di farti sedere all’ombra dopo aver consumato, ma si ostinano a farti sedere nell’area più assolata. Questa cosa non è successa solo a noi, ma a molti che dopo essersi giustamente seduti e aver ordinato, sono stati obbligati a cambiare tavolo. Come...
