"There were 2 of us for lunch, and between us we had 5 dishes. 4 were excellent beef tartare, beef tagliata, a citrus mousse, and a fruity cheesecake. The fifth dish was inedible lamb with green beans. The lamb consisted of marginal pieces of lamb (mostly bone) way over cooked, and the green beans weren’t even green but a grayish color that didn’t even taste like a vegetable. Most Italians can’t cook fresh vegetables correctly, but I keep hoping that the better restaurants will be the exception. Not so far. Perhaps that is why there is seldom much of a choice for side dishes in restaurants. And this coming from someone who lived in the country for more than 10 years…….."

Beautiful setting with attentive service and good food. We drank a great local wine from a vineyard in Petroio. We will return to explore more of the menu.

This restaurant was fantastic. A hidden gem in the little town of Petroio. Excellent food, fabulous service and unbelievable view. $100 for 3 guests including excellent wine. 5 !!

Fantastic find. Beautiful place with incredible views. Food was first class. We eat in many top restaurants and thought the food at this restaurant was excellent. Would highly recommend.

in the delightful village of petroio a group of young people have restored to this beautiful palace. the rooms are very nice and spacious. the service is satisfying, but there is need for a greater presence (the boys do in turn because they also perform other works.) two notes: in the bedroom they want to have a curtain of cover and the Jacuzzi is small, at this point better a beautiful shower. for the rest super recommended.
