Popped in for a bit of lunch with my daughter and will definitely return. Lovely staff and pizza was best I’ve had in a long time definitely recommend

Now Cibo Italiano. Delicious food, attractively priced. This restaurant now under new ownership deserves to do well. Our first visit but it will not be our last.

Having been quite a few times we can honestly say we have really enjoyed every meal we have ordered. The Mine Host is most pleasant and very attentive. Really worth a visit Ver carta

We found there was a good range of food available and the host was always willing to take into considerations the customers wishes wherever possible. There was a relaxing atmosphere and there was a good wine range to choose from. Da Lucia is really worth a visit.

Now called Cibo Italiano. Delicious food. We had arancini and bruschetta as starters then a filetto Rossini (from the specials menu) as a main course. The steaks were perfectly cooked. All the food was delicious. It is a tiny restaurant so probably best to book a table. We shall definitely be returning to Cibo Italiano again.

Attended as part of Hull Supper Club @hullsupperclub for a business networking event. The food is so authentic and the service is beyond what you expect very reasonably priced too. They do a special steak evening for 2 on Mondays for £37!!! Unbelievable given the current economic situation. Will definitely be back with my wife. Ver carta

Keeping it as brief as possible. Early evening booking. Nobody in, in fact just my wife and I for a whole hour. This is very telling. The guy who served us is a really nice chap, however we felt it was a one man show. He was doing everything, he greeted us, served wine, took the order and then disappeared for ages to prep the food. Anti Pasti starter, Lidl ingredients, it couldn’t have been more obvious. Mains....meatball pasta and seafood (we couldn’t see it) linguine. The meatballs were so dry, the portion was poor. This place deserves to do well. However it is a victim of how squeezed restauranteurs are and how small margins of profit are. First the food. My dish of mussels was the best I have tasted in an age. They can be rubbery if you get it wrong and this chef got it dead right. My fellow diners were happy with theirs too. We had a fifty minute wait for our main course and service was slow. There did not appear to be any heating in the restaurant and we were next to a radiator. It was not conducive to a leisurely Sunday lunch in December, reminding me of a cold September in Italy, where the local authorities actually ban heating in public places, regardless of the temperature. This Resaurant is now Cibo Italiano Dined at Cibo (pronounced chibo) with my wife for a belated anniversary meal. The welcome was warm, we were seated upstairs where it was quiet and very pleasant. Classic fm on the sound system setting a nice ambiance. Our drinks order was taken and the wine was perfectly chilled. The starters we enjoyed were the Chilli King Prawns and the Aranchini. Both were perfectly prepared by the talented chefs. For our mains my wife ordered a lemon chicken dish which she enjoyed very much indeed. I ordered the manzo peppercorn with potatoes. My wifes was perfect. My plate however was extra hot as if it had been in a hot oven for a good while, too hot to touch and so... Ver carta
