"My darling and I came apon this place by chance . We often just go for a drive and take lunch where we land at lunch time . My darling wanted to show me the little cappella on the side of the road with the magnificent view. we noticed folks herding into this unpretentious place over the road , so being the types who like eating places others like to dine at we followed like sheep . Now the biggest surprise is the price .. ten euros and you get a three course menu water AND WINE , bread etc and a clean toilet ... BARGAIN .... We ordered a pasta , gnocchi , salad grilled vegetables and two main dishes wine and water . The gnocchi was so fresh , light and lovely , simple with a basil tomato sauce and cheese on top. My little man wanted to swap half way through , but honestly it was so good i couldn't , and he was eating a really great pasta dish as well . My main of pork chop was with potatoes , nice fresh oven baked . everything came out promptly and with a smile of the lady of the house who told us the history of the trattoria, its been in her family for three generations . Its a great big room with a view over the valley. There are private rooms off it . I liked the old photos on the wall . Now folks this place is not stylish or anywhere near modern or even chic...but who cares , the food is fantastic for the price , I am sure Nonna is still making all the pasta by hand and some other family members are tending the bar and others kitchen duties. Plenty of locals obviously love this place for a good hearty lunch at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE. I thought it was great , and the gnocchi TO DIE FOR . I will come here again for lunch and maybe even dinner WITH FRIENDS."

"Locale molto bello e recente. Ottimo impianto audio e notevole anche la pompeiana esterna. Il ristorante offre piatti di pesce e carne di ottima qualità. La carta dei vini è ben fornita con vini per tutte le tasche. Abbiamo cenato con piatti a base di pesce tutti ottimi. Il cameriere che ci ha seguito, Gianni, è molto simpatico ed attento ai particolari. Unico neo il bere ha tempi insolitamente lunghi, probabilmente perché il bar è molto frequentato ma questo particolare inficia tutto il resto. Il prezzo è in linea con il servizio e la qualità del cibo offerto (180€ in 4). Consigliato per cena con amici o con la propria metà anche se verso le 11.00 la musica è ad un volume più alto e a qualcuno può dar fastidio."

"Visto il caldo afoso di questi giorni andiamo a mangiare una pizza in collina. Da Giacomo venivo spesso Anni addietro, da giovane, avevo un buon ricordo, sopratutto del posto. In effetti la posizione in piazza con balcone sulla valle è stupenda, aria frizzantina con musica anni 70, ma anche il locale è fermo a quel periodo, sarebbe da sistemare. Comunque oltre alla location le pizze sono buone e sopratutto i prezzi molto competitivi, nota dolente il servizio, i giovani che servivano si perdevano facilmente, sparivano, assenti, da rivedere"

"Una vera trattoria in zona collinare, con tutti suoi pro e i suoi contro, dipende dalle aspettative. Gestione familiare rilassata, non è che ti corrono incontro. Fanno meglio che possono, e va bene così. Accomodati sotto il tendone, ogni tanto si ammazza una zanzara, arrivano appena possono, soprattutto se e’ pieno di clienti. Intanto si chiacchiera con i propri commensali. Menu’ trattoria: diversi primi di pasta con ragù/anitra/tartufo/pomodoro; secondi tipo grigliata, braciole, galletto, tagliata, petto di pollo; contorni misti, quello che hanno disponibile; arboscello/Cabernet/prosecco; qualche dolcetto in finale. Il cibo e’ molto buono. 25 €/testa. Va benissimo così, se cominci a metterci mano perde autenticità. Consigliato a chi sa bene cosa cerca."
