"Shopping in the Wilmersdorfer area? This is worth the short walk off the main plaza. Dal Terrone is a mid sized restaurant, busy with regular customers and families having a nice time together. The waitstaff was welcoming, there are menus available in English and there are plenty of Italian dishes from which to select - mostly southern Italian specialties and lots of seafood options. Green olives and bread were offered up right away and the house red wine was flavorful. I started with the caprese salad (arranged in the three colors of the Italian flag with tomatoes, mozarella, and rocket leaves). The cheese was mild and had a good consistency. Next up, I had the lasagna that was lava-hot. It was sliced out of the pan and had lots of parmesan cheese grated over it - with the noodles crispy on top from a quick stop in the broiler. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, which had very good flavors and the lady fingers were well soaked. It was paired with a choco-chili liquor which was great. Overall, I'd go back to try some other dishes."
