"I met a colleague here at the breakfast meeting. I took the kids. I ordered a chai latte with milk, 2 avocado on sourdough, 1 hafer milk hot chocolate, a can of diet coke and jam on toast. all came to 25 pounds. the children wouldn't eat the dead or smash the sourdough, because the sourdough was hard and not tasty, they said. I ate my avo on toast, it was hard, but I was hungry. was nice sitting on the front side, the staff was nice and glued to vegan items. it was just a lot of money really, and then they don't have any toilets for their customers so that they're on the public loos around the corner."

The service was a little slow but the lemonade was some of the best I have ever drunk. It was freshly pressed. Delicious!

Ordered halloumi bagel and salad for lunch. They looked and tasted like a meal that my reluctant teenagers had been asked to make. Cakes looked better. Ver carta

Lovely cafe on the Market Square! Coffee was superb and a lovely bustling atmosphere outside, felt very continental! A great stop especially on market day! Would highly recommend!

Lovely cafe', very good coffee and a great selection of things to eat, sandwiches cakes etc. Comfortable interior, if busy, then there's seating outside, with views of the Marketplace. Reccomended.

was here for a very decent coffee. it can be quite a popular place to go, was told to me, and today all tables were filled out. today's food service was quite slow, sad, but eating was delicious when it finally arrived, so easy to wait. at least the sun seemed! Ver carta

Called in for a late lunch/sandwich. Good variety on menu, friendly staff. Only given 3 stars as the sandwiches we had were served with salad flooded in balsamic vinegar which really spoilt it. The ciabatta soaked it up too. It wouldn't stop me trying their food again, but I know now to ask for it without balsamic.Cakes looked good drinks were fine.

Lovely little cafe in Framlingham village, walking distance from the castle. Has an unusual mix of food, very Deli and lots that is vegan and vegitarian friendly, but even my fussy teenager found something and enjoyed it. Home cooked food and very friendly staff who will adapt the menu to suit any requirements. There are only a small number of tables inside and outside, and no toilets, but the public ones are free and just around the corner (2 mins away)

"This wasn’t our first visit (the previous occasion was more positive than this) but this was really quite poor. Problem after problem, service was poor and just not very welcoming. Firstly, drinks weren’t available issues with draft, but then bottles weren’t available either. So there was a very limited selection of drinks on offer and the staff weren’t proactive in advising what was available. So it was request and receive a no! Secondly, the food was poor. The starters were shocking. Really quite bad. There was a bit of redemption from some of the mains, but we elected to not proceed with anything else as it wasn’t great. We had to wait ages for drinks and foods to arrive despite the fact that the restaurant was practically empty and many staff present. Frequently there were 3 staff at the back of the room standing about chatting, but they weren’t attentive to our needs. They didn’t check around the room to see if guests required additional drinks or require plates clearing. They didn’t check to see how the food was and when we complained regarding a starter they simply didn’t know how to handle it. When the draft beer came back on there was no proactive behaviour in returning to the table and letting us know so that more drinks could be ordered. Drinks were poured in wrong glasses, plates were cleared whilst people were still eating and then not cleared when they needed to be! Simply put the staff working had no idea on what table service should be perhaps they had received no training which is a major failing when the restaurant is part of a hotel. It was not welcoming. The restaurant was freezing cold. The service was really very poor and the food disappointing. They also don’t take dogs which in Aldeburgh is a bit weird. There is plenty of space and the tables are large so they would not be in the way. We won’t be returning."
