Dan's DimSum - Carta

we ordered noodles, pork and sticky rice. everything was delicious. loved the verity and quality. also the price was great! we will go back soon.

had the black pao and siu mai. the taste was boom! everything was homemade. also the fried noodles mix huhn and curry, surprisingly taste so good. overall the restaurant is very nice and friendly.

The atmosphere was great, the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, we couldn't fault any of it. We tried a variety of dishes with each one being better than the last one. Can't wait for our next visit. Ver carta

Really good for Dim Sum in Germany. The taste is quite similar to the once I had back in Hong Kong and Singapore. The Char Chew Pow was great and the Siau Mai also. The Siao Long Bow could have been more jucy. Would recommend...to check this place out.

We arrived in Berlin on Christmas eve to find most restaurants closed. Dan's Dim Sum was opened and we gave it a try. The shrimp dumpling and Shanghai soup dumplings were very good and pretty authentic. The Thai chicken coconut soup was delicious. The curried...noodles was more of a disappointment with German curry sauce' rather than anything authentic.

....and that plan is to provide a decent alternative to the more trendy dim sum restaurants around Mitte. The plan is reasonably well executed the restaurant is basic but a wide range of dim sum accompanied by rice dishes (try the prawn fried rice...which is very good) makes this a very solid choice if in the area. The only reason I haven't given this stars is due to price it just feels a little bit too expensive for the overall experience (e.g the prawn fried rice is euros, where it should be around euros). Don't let that put you off though dan is still the man in my book! Ver carta

We came across this place and decided to try it. The place was half full, lots of empty tables...We both wanted to sit facing the inside of the room, ie next to each other so we did. It turned out this was a huge problem...for the extremely rude waitress, who literally yelled at us saying that is not how you sit, thats not the way you do it'. Excuse me? Not sure what the issue was, but we walked straight out of the place. If she explained with a half decent attitude why this was a problem, it might have been ok, but this woman was literally barking at us. Will never ever return here

when they go to a Chinese restaurant, they should really order Chinese food, not their Vietnamese or American colleagues. this is one of these restaurants that they should really focus on eating, and nothing else. they don't try to be something. they are not, they just want to serve real Chinese food and they make a great job. this restaurant has one of the best har gow in berlin and some of the best noodles in total. the noodles are not handmade, but freakin tasty, I would order definitiw to share this with people. we also ordered the larger escape of vegetarian steam dumplings and they were fantastic as well as the cold cut tofu that I love. if they don't like to tofu, don't order it:d the...

This was my second visit to Dan's but this is my first review. I visited right after they had opened and still had a very small menu, mostly of dim sum. The dim sum was okay but not to my taste as the wrapers were...rather doughy and easily overwhelmed their contents so that the end taste was essentially just starchy. I had Dim Sum in the China Towns of many a city (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, etc) and honestly I am at a loss how other reviewers came up with their positive impressions.
