Expectations exceeded reality. Although the service was impeccable and the staff is extremely friendly, the food did not rise up to our expectations.

The service was impeccable. The food is delicious. But I must say I was shocked by the high prices. Even more expensive than Osteria Gucci in Beverly Hills. Get ready to take out a mortgage after you down here.

Incredible experience with 1st class food and the highest standards of service. A truly memorable experience and the highlight of our week in Portofino, Outshines it’s sister property the Splendido Hotel on the hill overlooking the harbor.

we stayed towards end of December pleasant local with good service, almost intrusive. pleasant and well presented foods. high prices in the sense that in other restaurants of the Ligurian Riviera, even at a higher level, prices are different. only the champagne rose was in line with the competition. However it is worth to go and try.

you eat in small square, with a view of the marina, attentive service, professional and courteous, many of the dishes are the same offered by the multi-star restaurant of brusaporto. excellent of course the choice of wines. price in line with the quality and creativity of the dishes and with the location, without getting to the levels of the “Casa Madre” (it is not a star restaurant. )

Fine dining experience was just ok. Staff is a bit stiff, had trouble allowing us to have cocktail before ordering dinner. Asked to be moved to another table and was informed that there was another couple who were celebrating an anniversary. Funny, we were there celebrating our anniversary, as well. I guess that was lost on her. Portofino in general is overrated, overpriced and overcrowded. There are so many other beautiful parts of Liguria including Santa Margarita and Rapello. You will find better service, better views and more appropriate staff.

difficult to assess a restaurant of this type. do you value it for what the menhmoffer is? for the location? for the price? or for what it offers having behind a star? we take menu degoting course. excellent appetizer, good risotto, very basic the orata. good raw materials, well made dishes, few emotions. wonderful location, but this is merit of the square. fast service, so personal, error when just after ordering comes a room operator and leaves me the menu. Pre-baked dishes the right. coffee and small water pastry and gevurztraminer with list around at honest prices also insane for portofino. something needs to be settled.
