"I must say this restaurant has great potential and due to the respect of the two hard working people here. it is in the round a two person show. therefore I was a little unwilling to give them a hard review, but nevertheless it had to be in the bigger. interest do the plate that I had was very well served, but the injera that accompanied it was very upset due to the excess yeast that they had added to it. I used to eat Ethiopians and remember that injera was not mad. they can smell edgy from it through the excess fermentation. there were at least different sauces and for the price was super good. but inside of hr of me eating all this, I had to throw up, because my likes had become super mad. I guess that was the excess yeast that was added to the injera. the service was friendly, but not everything in the menu was available and the server that wanted to serve us first was new in the job, and he didn't even know what was in the menu. I see that the restaurant has enormous potential, but it can not be two people show, and these two are probably very new in this restaurant business. I would say they need a visit from gordon ramsay, just like bright kitchen to clean up their work."

The inside is really cute! Super modern and comfortable The service was very good and they got us everything we wanted However the portions were very small even for the huge platter that usually is filled with food Overall really good! Although for the two...of us we payed euros which is a bit much for a bottle of water a platter and salad

the waiter gave us the menus and went away while talking to someone else on the phone. in front of the restaurant there is a construction so that the parking spaces will be difficult. there is no one. Ethiopian honey and no Ethiopian beer. are small without a large number of objects (meat spinach and a egg for the doro alicha. the food tastes good, there is simply not much to the price.

Ethiopian/Eritrean food is amazing if you know it. But please dont come here as the owner is greedy with the portions and is too lazy to provide a normal service. You can wait minutes until you get the menu. On top of that the...portions are tiny and ghey started to serve the food in tiny little bowls, which is ridicolous. Try other injera restaurants in Munich. All the other ones are great, since I have been to all of them.

We went there on a relatively quiet evening for food and drinks. We were initially patient but it took minutes to order drinks, minutes to order food! The one lady serving seem to have little idea as to what was happening only...ever came to a table when prompted or to bring something that had been ordered. The food was definitely interesting but I would recommend the vegetarian over the meat. The meat dishes all felt that they were very cheap cuts, fat and even gristle in just about every mouthful. Overall, I would not return.

We chose De Afric at random and certainly don't regret it. The place is small and friendly, though in the center of the town far from the madding crowd Food superb. I had hot lamb stew, my husband hot beef stew, both had different...soups, accompanied with two side dishes, injera pancakes, flat bread and red wine. I ate really too much, but the food was irresistible. Service- you are waited on by the owner and his wife, both friendly, ready to talk, speaking both German and English. Interior I believe this is what you can see in the suburbs of Addis Abeba. Kitschy but very nice. I certainly want to visit De Afric again. And again ...

This family owned restaurant is very exotic and fascinating. We were very interested in trying out the food and to experience some Africa! And yes, the food was actually very interesting, the sour bread, the slowly cooked meat were delicious! The service was very...funny the waiter (I assume he's the owner) shows how to eat the food so he brings a small meal over to a table, and just eats it with his fingers and you follow his instructions. The decorations of the restaurant are authentic and not pretentious I liked it! I think they have some small issue with proper marketing and service. The waiter wasn't trying to recommend anything from the menu, he didn't bother to ask us if we're interes...
