ideal location, terrace installation. We asked for a parasol because the sun was typing. We waited a long time between the two dishes. the waitress of the beginning disappeared during the service, his replacement was lost. the kitchen is really average, the requested blue meat came to a point, the fish dish had too cooked. result very medium

We have a night with our child of year. the reception is good, the suprieure room is spacious enough to add a bed of umbrella. the bed was a little uncomfortable and the hot water was long enough to arrive in the shower. with regard to the restaurant the evening meal was very good if the greedy caf had us a little (the question of going against breakfast was missing diversit for its euros. Overall, we are satisfied with our stay in low season. Ver carta

On the outskirts of La Tranche in a suburb alive with tourists in season but about the only place open in October. Lovely decor inside and a very pleasant courtyard to sit in if you want to be outside but away from the road. Staff were friendly and efficient and the food very good. Good vegetable soup, duck salad, followed by well cooked fish , pork in a very good mustard sauce and some local cheese. For 13.50 euros, very good indeed. We'll be back

We went a few times to eat at the Hotel de la Mer. Each time we were received with a friendly welcome by the owner. The restaurant is quite a large room with a good choice of places to sit (nevertheless a reservation is to be recommended). The hotel is located directly on the sea, with a fine view. The service was quick and attentive. The food was consistently excellent and varied. The prices were not particularly cheap, but were fully justified by the quality and the service.

Slow indifferent service from start to finish. Wine actually arrived mid way through our main course regardless of the chasing. Bread arrived almost as a desert regardless of chasing. We ordered 4 steaks. All were tough, grisly and hugely overlooked. We actually ordered a combination of rare, medium rare and medium. What we got was chucked it on the grill and forgot it for 20 mins . We were repeatedly ignored as we politely attempted to get staffs attention. Couldn 't get out fast enough at the end. It seemed like a clear case of couldn 't give a toss because you 're British tourists. Won 't be back. Ever. Ver carta
