"The restaurant is really worth recommending. Very selected and very tasty, well prepared dishes. The location is a little hidden, looks a bit desolate from the outside (at least in winter) and a cloud of Eau de Gulli greeted us in the inner courtyard. However, this is compensated very well inside. Everything is lovingly furnished, clean and very attractive. The many hard-working hands are very courteous and quick, without being intrusive. We would be happy to come back at any time, but not for a meal on Christmas Day. We wouldn't choose this restaurant again for that reason. It was too crowded, too loud and too narrow. You couldn't move without getting to know the neighboring tables. Sometimes less is more. As a result, a lot was lost and in the end even the many hard-working hands were very tense (understandably, since the next batch of guests had already been waiting outside the door for half an hour). But as already written. On another normal weekday we will be happy to pamper ourselves with culinary delicacies again."

"Aufgrund der überragenden Bewertungen haben wir uns für dieses Restaurant entschieden – und wurden sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen ist genauso authentisch wie indisches Essen aus dem Supermarkt. Wir bestellten vier unterschiedliche Gerichte, die gleich schmeckten. Drei Gerichte waren mit 2 bis 3 Chilischoten gekennzeichnet, jedoch fehlte ihnen gänzlich die Schärfe, im Gegenteil: Sie waren süßlich. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass man nicht scharf würzt. Schade, dass das Restaurant uns die Vielfalt, Würze und Schärfe echter indischer Küche nicht zutraut.Das Ambiente dagegen ist einladend, die Bedienung bemüht. Wie diese ausgezeichneten Bewertungen zustandekommen ist uns ein großes Rätsel."

"El servicio, incluida la recomendación de vinos, fue muy bueno y atento. A mi compañero le gustó el menú gourmet, pero el menú como variante vegetariana me pareció un poco soso, sin grandes experiencias de sabor y en términos de cantidad realmente no es suficiente como cocina estrella"

"I had ordered an eleven burger. the flesh apparently came out of the frozen chest, was lukewarm and reminded of sorry press meat. I let the burger go back and got my cracked meat!! for the fact that one advertises in this restaurant with meat of 1a quality, it was only disappointing and is not in any ratio at the price. the sweet potato red beete suppe unfortunately reminded of a kartoffel bree, also only lukewarm. the very nice waiter forgot our drink order before louder excitement. very bad everything, we had presented ourselves differently the evening on valentinstag."

"Wir haben von Berlin aus einen kleinen Abstecher nach Potsdam gemacht und haben uns in der Mittagszeit was zum Essen gesucht und sind dann vor dem Laila gelandet. Es saß niemand drinnen und wir haben uns kurz gefragt, ob das was zu bedeuten hat, aber wir hatten Hunger, also sind wir rein. Und wir wurden sooooo positiv überrascht. Mir fehlen die Worte.Hier bedient der Chef noch höchstpersönlich und seine Frau kocht. Und ich kann euch sagen: Sie kocht sowas von gut.Wir wurden nett und zuvorkommend bedient und weil nur wir seine Gäste waren, wurden wir ganz toll unterhalten. Es war überhaupt nicht störend, einfach nur so so nett.Das Essen kam gefühlt wie im Flug und es war einfach perfekt. Alles harmonierte so so so gut. Süß, sauer, würzig, mild. Das Fleisch war butterzart.Wenn ich wieder in Potsdam bin, weiß ich wo ich essen gehen werde.Also liebe Leute: Scheut euch nicht, nachmittags in ein leeres Lokal namens Laila in Potsdam zu gehen. Abends sollte man übrigens reservieren. Da ist die Hütte meistens voll."
