Came back here after 5y. It is the best Turkish restaurant outside of turkey to my experience. One step down from fine dining experience. I had octopus as starter (oh my tastebuds for that tomato sauce) and alinazik for the main course.

we live in the neighbourhood and have visited defne regularly for over 4 years. the food is delicious and the staff really cares for them and make them feel like home. if they want real Turkish cuisine and are really welcomed, visit them definitiw defne. Ver carta

A good choice for a calm evening meal outdoors. The food is of good quality, but not always very authentic. The service was friendly, but the cleanliness could be better. They have a nice range of wine. The inside is a bit on the simple and dark side, but with athmosphere. Great ice cream next door.

I have visited Defne three times when I visited Berlin and always left the restaurant full and happy. Their air-dried sujuck pastrami with hommis and pistachio is amazing. I can also recommend their octopus in spicy sauce. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere nice. Good for dates and share the food.
