I stopped by on the first Sunday in the new year. Chicken pie fresh out of the oven with salad, followed by a cream tea. Enjoyed the meal and appreciated the banter with regular customers. Friednly place

I used to frequently stop by for a coffee and sandwich, but the restaurant has changed ownership recently so I haven't had a chance to go back this month. Therefore, I am unable to provide a review of the new management.

Andrea supplied us with a anniversary cream tea for 40 people. Everything was home made and was fantastic. Loads of cakes sandwiches and scones.Everything needed was supplied. Andrea came and set all the food up on each table at the venue on stands. The food and service was top quality and would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you Andrea you made our day. Ver carta

A friendly cafe, which offers fabulous home made food. I had steak pie, which was delicious and my husband had a bacon and sausage baguette, which was rammed with good quality bacon and 2 sausages and both dishes were served with a side salad. The coffee was lovely and next time I will definitely sample one of the home made cakes as they looked scrumptious. HIGHLY RECOMNENDED!

Looking for a light bite, entered to look at offerings at counter as not from area. Was not asked if we needed to be served. Chose a chicken and mushroom pie and asked if it could be heated . Told it would be a few minutes and pie was scalding hot , bottom soggy and was thrown away as so overheated that filling ruined Felt owner was reluctant to serve us and over heated pie intentionally Will not recommend

Delighted to find that on a scorching hot day they had provision indoors with a cooling fan, although they were busy serving customers who sat outside enjoying the sun. Dog-friendly. Clearly a good client base of local residents as well as tourists finding a better option than Avon Beach or Mudeford. Wide choice of cakes, drinks and light lunch options and staff that were clearly willing to engage with customers rather than serve-and-go. Ver carta

I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and I was not let down at all! I opted for takeout as we were staying nearby. The bacon, brie, and cranberry baguettes I ordered were delicious, with high-quality ingredients, and the coffee and walnut cake was absolutely amazing. The variety of options on the menu was impressive and everything looked so appetizing, catering to all tastes. I highly recommend paying a visit - you won't be disappointed! Thank you very much.

Stopped here for bite to eat (takeaway) after walking back from mudeford quay. Had looked at other takeaways restaurants along the front but both my wife and I agreed that others pricing was high and remembered we saw this cafe as we drove in Always a good sign with people sat outside eating drinking even with our unpredictable british weather! Good selection of sandwiches and rolls to choose from, along with cakes. Both ordered a bap and slice of cake which were wrapped so we could takeaway and eat along the seafront Very reasonable pricing and only a couple of minutes walk from Avon carpark/beach. Ver carta
