When my partner inquired about the fillings in the panini, he was told he had to ask for them, which he found odd as it should have been mentioned when ordering. He then asked for hot sauce or ketchup but was given "cranberry chutney" which tasted like raspberry jam. The food was edible but not very enjoyable, it was very basic. The service was also poor, as the staff were not attentive or timely in serving us. We were not satisfied with the food or service and would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to others."

Nice sandwiches, coffee and toasties, but just not in a nice area, with the smell of cannabis from people walking down Prince of Wales Road.

A relaxed environment. The food was delicious! It was all freshly made and you can certainly tell. Great presentation, simple but effective! If I didn't live so far away, I'd definitely dine here again.

Every week, we make it a point to stop by the departure lounge in the city. It's always our first stop because, in my opinion, it serves the best coffee in the city. While we don't eat there frequently, the food we have tried has always been good. The current owner is a friendly guy who always takes the time to chat with customers.

I recently visited the Departure Lounge Cafe in Norwich and I was quite impressed! The cafe is a cozy spot where you can grab drinks and snacks. We ordered a latte and a cappuccino, both of which were delicious. The cappuccino was particularly noteworthy, with its frothy and smooth texture. However, the highlight of the visit was definitely the brownie. It was warm, gooey, and packed with chocolatey goodness. Despite the lack of music, the atmosphere was still pleasant and peaceful. Overall, I had a great experience at the Departure Lounge Cafe.
