"During our road trip in Switzerland from Tasch (Zermatt) to Lugano on a beautiful September day, we decided to stop over at the beautiful Swiss village of Bettmeralp to view the mighty Aletsch Glacier. A gondola ride from the base station at Betten took us to the Alpen village of Bettmeralp. Then after a 20 minute walk through the village, we took the cable car to the viewpoint station at Bettmerhorn. After enjoying a stunning view of the Aletsch from the view point and clicking some photos, we decided to have lunch at the Panorama restaurant. The lunch dishes were very tasty and the staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly. My wife is a vegetarian and the very friendly chef Manuel Lienhard prepared a special vegetable pasta for her, which she really enjoyed. The chef was also very helpful in serving us some special spicy sauces. Since we had a wonderful lunch experience high up in the Swiss Alps, thanks to a very helpful staff at Panorama Restaurant Bettmerhorn, I write this review as a note of appreciation to this restaurant."
