"Yesterday evening at Restaurant Things in Wertheim The evening in the tastefully decorated restaurant began with a fresh and fruity Sylvaner 2017 by Norbert Spielmann's Alte Grafschaft Winery. The perfectly fried duck liver with raspberries we added with the Riesling Spätlese by Schloss Proschwitz in 2003. Satt golden yellow with slightly aging tones, full-bodied and complex, harmonious. Die Nudeln mit Pilze und das Wildschwein sind sehr zu empfehlen. Ein besonders krönender Abschluss sind die Variationen aus Schokolade. Fein aufeinander abgestimmte Gewürze und Kräuter sowie beste Zutaten machen das Essen zu einem Genuss.

Had a Christmas party there with my work. This restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere. For Christmas it was very crowded, but you could still have a good chat at the table and the staff served quickly. Every customer was asked and served bread when he waited for the courses. Between the different courses was sufficient time and the staff was very nice and attentive. The food tasted fantastic. The service was great all night.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen zum Essen , 1x Ente, 1x Leber und 4x Zwiebelrostbraten. Ente und Leber waren gut, die 4x Zwiebelrostbraten dagegen sehr durch und trocken. Beim Hinweis darauf, wurde lediglich gesagt, daß man das der Küche weitergeben wird und das war es. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aber nach starkem beginn wurden wir nicht mehr wahrgenommen. manche von uns saßen teilweise 10 min ohne Getränk da. Von einem Restaurant mit diesem Anspruch und Preisniveau erwarte ich mehr.
