I had a moussaka, it was delicious, and came with an excellent tsatsiki. Very nice atmosphere, good & friendly service.

Really friendly staff, cool drinks, fresh and well prepared appetizers and very good main courses! Whether pig or lamb, just incredibly good food! The next visit is planned.

there seem to be a few negative comments for this restaurant but they are not that recent. maybe it has changed hands? anyway we had a lovely, reasonably priced meal with great service, good house wine and friendly English speaking staff.

Good Greek restaurant on a beautiful and quiet Cologne Veedelsplatz. The parts were large and well fed. The price-performance ratio is correct. There was nothing to say about the service, always as if they wanted to be reordered and there was even a round of Ouzo on the house for our group. Little Manko: unfortunately no card payment. Taverna Diogenes is a recommended Greek restaurant. The location of the terrace is unusually quiet for the Cologne city centre. The services are friendly. Now to the most important part in a restaurant, the food: the Tsatsiki was very tasty, fresh and inexpensive. Pitabrot would have been desirable instead of normal baguette. According to my accompaniment, the full upper gin was also pleasant. The supplemental salad was nothing special, but according to expectations. This restaurant was recommended in a local guide and although a good 20 minutes or so from the Cathedral and main attractions, this promised to be something to look forward to. On entering the restaurant it was quite busy , but we were shown to a table. However, half an hour went by and we had not even been offered drinks let alone being asked what our food order was. There was a rather large party next to us- and only two people serving the whole restaurant. Eventually both drinks and food orders were taken, personally I thought the food was okay. I ordered a Greek salad which basically was nothing special and lacked the traditional dressing of olive oil etc. the moussaka for main was okay....

We went in here on a Saturday night without a reservation and were lucky to get a table. Unfortunately, we did have to wait 30 mins to even get a drink and there only appeared to be two people waiting on the whole restaurant. In defence of the staff, there was a party of about 20 that were just receiving their food which may explain why the service was a little slow.Once we had our order taken the service was a little better and the quality of the food was excellent. The waitress who served us a was very friendly albeit she seemed bewildered by the amount of food we had ordered. She also arranged for the four of us to have a desert on the house which was a magnificent sponge cake with an ora... Ver carta
