The Mayer bookshop is very centrally located on the new market and really offers the greatest range of books. I regularly go to the stoning there and have never gone with empty hands. Everyone really finds what he needs. If you're not looking for a particular book, you just want to see a little time to meet the great offer. On full Saturdays, unfortunately, too few sellers are present, who are advised to help. I can also recommend this store to all readers!

In this bookshop there is probably the largest selection in Cologne. The main topics of each department are distributed at several levels. From Belletristik to the school book, from children's books to guides, the selection and the friendly ladies at the counter help in finding or ordering quickly and competently. On the ground floor there is a small refreshment area, on all levels comfortable armchairs for moaning and a children's carousel as well as a playground in the children's and youth departments.

In my opinion, the Mayerische Buchhandlung is the best bookshop in Cologne and the surrounding area next to GONSKI. Thousands of books magazines and magazines really find everything from children's books to specialist literature. If it happens that one copy isn't there, that circumvent will be ordered.
