Dining at Docking 9 taught us a valuable lesson about NOT asking the price for the waiters recommendations . The recommended fish while quite tasty, however was not spectacular. The price was quite spectacular- 3 times anything that was on the menu !! I guess you can say we got the “tourist special” . Great lesson to get at the start of a trip through Italy. I would return to Docking 9, if only for the ambiance and the wine . And to remember to ask”quanto?”

the place hamaggior value if you are looking for an elegant but at the same time casual restaurant where you can stay in shorts and shirts, just like you would be on board a panfilo, without feeling out of place- a soft environment, ideal for a candlelight dinner (replaced by soft light lamps, placed on every table possibility to diversify the menu, from the appetizers to the most content frozen dessert if you look for a restaurant personally, while appreciating the goodness of the dishes chosen, I would have preferred, according to sea resorts, a greater number of proposals based on fresh fish.

I have never stayed in the Fiumicino area before, however I have a really early flight in the morning. I looked up a few restaurants nearby and decided on Docking 9 based on other reviews. I ordered wine to accompany my main meal pasta with mixed seafood. I ended my beautiful dinner with the waiter's recommendation to try the ricotta dessert. Delicious : Well, what can I say ? fantastic food, wine attentive 5 star service in beautiful surrounds on the marina. Compliments to the chef. Considering the decor, view high standard of service , you'd expect to be paying a lot more , yet Docking 9 has very reasonable prices considering the above (and I would say probably less than comparable restaur...
