Lovely couple been running this restaurant for 25 years. Food is excellent. Don't be put off by the outside, inside is beautiful. I cannot rate this place highly enough!! Many thanks for looking after my wife and I. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was so good. The resturant happily accommodated my wife 's 'off menu ' order. First time back in around 15 years, life's just past by. Last minute decision to eat out and so glad we need, host was lovely and food amazing, friendly place will not leave so long next time. I had an early dinner with a colleague at this restaurant. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed by both the lady and the chef, who were very friendly. The service was efficient and hassle-free. We started with dishes from the specials board - the Scampi was a bit bland, but the Crab claws were excellent (according to my friend). For our main courses, I had the Pork Escalope from the specials board, which was a bit tough and could have been of better quality. My friend enjoyed the Spaghetti Mare, describing it as fabulous. The house red wine was good and the prices were reasonable, but be aware of the automatic 10% service charge, which I asked to have removed before leaving a decent tip...
