"The little pizzeria is fabulous! My husband and I frequent quite often. Our FAVORITE dishes are Spaghetti a la Carbonara and pizza (garlic, mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, and onions . It is to die for!! (I am not sure about the other dishes on the menu because we can't seem to get past the Carbonara and pizza! HA! Seriously, this is the best Carbonara I have had since my trip to Rome! Try the Quota 29 wine as well! The restaurant is family owned (yes, real Italians! The restaurant is small so reservations are good. Make sure to have time on your hands because Italians take pride in their cooking! (which means dishes take time to make! The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Hours are from 1130 to 1430 1730 to 2200-2300 (depends on customers! Tuesday-Sunday."

Pizza, wie in Italien, tolle Nudelgerichte und täglich etwas aktuelles neues und das zu unschlagbar günstigen Preisen. Es ist aber ratsam zu reservieren, da der Platz eingeschränkt ist.

We found the food and service to be excellent. I had a wonderful salad with chicken and a gelato with warm raspberries for dessert. Also a very nice Italian white wine. The restaurant quickly filled up that evening. I can understand why. The prices are also very reasonable. Ver carta

Leider ist das Restaurant irgendwie echt recht unauffällig, sprich keine Webseite, wenig Werbung, keine Flyer. Sehr schade, da das Essen dort wirklich top ist! Geschmacklich eine der besten Pizzen Griesheims, auch die Nudeln waren der Hammer. Wird jetzt der neue Stammitaliener! Zudem kommt der Preis, der echt unschlagbar, aber auch viel zu günstig für diese Qualität ist.

We were staying in the area on holiday and stopped in Griesheim for lunch. I’ve been married to an Italian for 25 years, been to so many Italian restaurants and been served up a lot of good homemade food. Today I had the best plate of pasta I’ve ever had. Toni seems like a great chap, works hard and produces some amazing food. We’ve got a few more days in the area and my wife and I will be going back. It’s clean, cosy and the prices are very fair. Amazing food. :

"We have often eaten gluten free in the restaurant here (pizza and pasta) or ordered pizza to pick up. The taste was always very good. As the restaurant is always very busy, it is advisable to reserve a table. The service is sometimes a bit overwhelmed due to the many guests. Unfortunately, the gluten free pizza, which is available for an extra charge, has become much smaller! The "size" is more like an appetiser, as even our 13 year old daughter, who eats like a sparrow, can't get enough. Wir haben hier schon häufiger glutenfrei im Restaurant gegessen (Pizza und Pasta) oder Pizza zum Abholen bestellt. Geschmacklich war alles immer sehr gut. Da im Restaurant immer sehr viel los ist, empfiehlt es sich einen Tisch zu reservieren. Der Service ist manchmal aufgrund der vielen Gäste etwas überfordert. Leider ist die gegen Aufpreis erhältliche glutenfreie Pizza deutlich kleiner geworden! Kann von der "Größe" eher als Vorspeise gewertet werden, da sogar unsere 13jährige wie ein Spatz essende Tochter davon nicht satt wird"

"The place was packed on an early Saturday night, but we had reserved. At first we were assigned a tiny table at the hallway where everyone who needs to go to the bathroom passes closely behind one's back. We expressed our dissatisfaction with this and then were offered a table close to the entrance that was somewhat better. Why not from the beginning? The staff was stressed and each time a different person appeared at our table. Some were friendly, others curt. The atmosphere was loud and hectic, which was not helped by the very narrow spacing of tables. In any case, in due course our order was taken and it did not take too long to arrive. This was possible, because clearly much of the food is prepared in advance and only heated up. For example, the Tajine dish was served in one, but it was clearly not prepared in it. The food tastes ok, but we would have expected more seasoning, it was a little bland. Portions are generous, perhaps even too large. There is a short list of bottled wines, but prices are marked up steeply. Altogether, the price tag seems a little high for the delivered quality. In summary, while there is nothing deeply wrong with Djadoo, we were left with a mere average impression. But they were turning three or four seatings per table, so many other customers are clearly more pleased."
