One of the best in that area, but like most chip shops seems to be going downhill, unfortunately. Only tried the pie chips.

This restaurant is the best in town, consistently spotless. The chips are perfectly cooked, the fish is nice and fluffy, and the kebabs are exceptional.

I just ordered fish and chips through Uber Eats. The food arrived very hot and delicious. I must say, it was the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. I highly recommend this takeout.

I have tried fish and chips at many places, but none compare to the deliciousness I found here. The traditional, large piece of fish and perfectly soggy chips were a delight. The staff was friendly and always took the time to chat with me while I waited. The quality of the ingredients used was also top-notch. Although I cannot speak for the other dishes on the menu, I can confidently say that the fish and chips here are unbeatable.

This is my go to place whenever I want Fish N Chips/Kebab etc and yes I live about 15-20 min drive from the place but it NEVER lets me down. The staff are friendly and gentleman who runs the chip shop is a lovely guy and nothing is ever too much for him. Portions on occasions have been hit and miss but again the manager always looks after me. 4 stars out of 5....one star dropped as prices have increased which has meant myself going every other week but again it's not their fault as supply chains and covid means prices have risen significantly. I've read some negative or bad reviews and honestly...yes it can happen but rather than pan them, go back discuss and they'll look after you!

Blatantly refused to serve some firefighters who I allowed to go in front of me in the queue. They obviously had to return to work and were very polite and smiley, as I wasn't in a rush I allowed them to go in front of...me and so did another person. However, even as they reached the front of the line the man refused to serve them and the firefighters were evidently very shocked at the blatant. One of the other people who worked there offered to serve them but the gaffer said that he didn't want them served.
