"So I've been in the U.K., then Belgium and finally France over the last two weeks away from my home in the USA on vacation and there is nothing I wanted more than an amazing hamburger. Sounds too simple and maybe a little crazy but it's exactly what I wanted and Hardwood Burger Bar gave me probably the BEST burger I have ever had! It was the Cajun Burger with a slice of cheddar and cheese-fries on the side (as per the owner's suggestion)...the Burger was cooked to perfection, medium rare, exactly like I asked for it. The fries had REAL cheddar melted over the top and as he mentioned needed to be eaten quickly to truly enjoy them. Lastly, the brioche, baked personally by the owner, was truly phenomenal! Go to the place, enjoy the food, the fast service, and the great beer!"

"dommage qu'il soit mal situé en plein virage au bord de la route et qu'on ne me parle pas de terrasse en fait vous êtes dans une rue avec la table et les chaises inconfortables les clients du restaurant d' à côté sont mieux installés et pourtant il ne figure pas au guide Michelin luine buvant pas d'alcool j'ai demandé de l'eau on ne m'a pas demandé si je souhaitais une carafe d'office j'ai eu droit à une bouteille d'eau à 4.50€ comme mon mari à pris l'apéritif on lui à servi quelques amuse bouche moi je n 'ai rien eu juste le droit de le regardé manger l'ardoise est quand même montée à 100€à part ces petits détails le repas était délicieux sauf la glace à la mûre pleine de pépin l'accueil agréable le service parfait"

"Please do not take any notice of any negative reviews of this restaurant, it is a true and rare delight. My friend and I booked online a great advantage in itself) for a meal to celebrate the last evening of our 5 week road trip. We were delighted by every aspect of our visit. We were looked after impeccably, the food was delicious the best beef steak I have tasted for many years) and the timing of the service of the courses was perfect this isn't McDonalds!!! so a few moments between courses is just as it should be). The owner and the waitress were both friendly and professional. Brilliant evening which will be remembered for a long time, thank you both."
