"My husband and I truly enjoyed our Trattoria Nonno Pici experience and would highly recommend when in the Puglia region of Acaya/Vernole. We were staying close by at the Doubletree Acaya and although I was planning to go based on the amazing Trip Advisor reviews, our hotel also spoke very highly of this restaurant. You never know what you will experience when visiting new places, but you will be extremely happy with this restaurant choice when you enter. A small quaint little town close to the sea coast and Lecce. The outdoor garden space was charming, beautiful delightful reflecting the historical village it resides in. The service was very good and the food was authentic, fresh, tasty, and delicious. We appreciated every bite of every dish! The space was bustling and people were turned away without a reservation. Suggest making a reservation to secure your table. We started with an appetizer of various antipasto choices such as grilled zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, eggplant, cauliflower, each one better than the last. The potato croquettes, common in this region were divine. The toasted bread with bruschetta was incredible. The pasta was out of this world. A great variety of menu choices. We really enjoyed and hope to return on our next Puglia vacation. Delish!"

"Nothing to say high prices in my opinion but quality good service almost impeccable note stonata put on a dinner of two people with three dishes based on fish and a grilled vegetables for a total of Euro 6750 add on the receipt 2 amari of the house to the fennel for a total of 8 euros. Paying so 7550 or we stayed badly even more when it rounded to 75 of fact 50 cent discount!!! Beautiful x two bitters of the house that typically offer them from Venice to Trapani you will not see us ' sin because you work well and quality (quality of course for the most frozen but excellent to say the true!so for sure that to whom you offer you coffee and bitter of branded further reason why we will not come anymore' and since"

"I wanted to congratulate the owners of this fantastic restaurant and pizzeria Michele and Paola for the welcome, the food and the atmosphere of the place. We came back from the sea when almost by mistake we enter this village in the neighboring areas of torre dell'orso with my family and having a certain appetite we found ourselves in this very characteristic square we said let's try it !! we sat outside on the central square surrounded from illuminations for the town festival. The waiters were very nice and very helpful, the food very simple but full of taste and big portions. What was proposed was all local and fresh starting from the starter 76 with 8 different types of plates served ,the fritto misto, raw local purple prawns and the fantastic strong dish of the place pizza made with great skill. A place where I would return without doubts for the quality of the food, the service and also the very right prices thanks Michele and Paola and staff for your hard job well done"

"Locale molto bello, riservato e raffinato. Curato nei minimi dettagli. Il locale è a gestione familiare e si nota subito. Personale di sala educato, simpatico e professionale. Cibo molto buono, cucinato in maniera eccelsa e ben impiantato. Prezzo giusto per ciò che abbiamo mangiato e bevuto. Vari vini da poter scegliere, anche dei fuori regione. Lo consiglio sicuramente"
