"I love the curry's at Dower House! I visited on a Thursday night recently, a small group of 3, around 18:45, there were a few tables available and it filled up towards 8pm. I booked online and it took 24 hours before they replied. So I'd say if you wanted to make sure you're booked in contact the restaurant and book . You enter through the side door and arrive at a check in desk, if nobody is there continue through and left onto the bar and they'll seat you from there. A nice pint of kingfisher We had a couple of poppadoms each and a pickle tray, it was all really fresh and the lime pickle was easily the best I've had in ages! I had Chicken Dansak for main, a nice sweet curry and some pilau rice and a garlic chapati (not on the menu but they were happy to make it it was really garlicky It all tasted great We all had a starter and a main, 1 garlic naan, 1 rice 1 chapati 2 pints 1 pint of coke and we had white coffees to finish. It came to just over £100 which I felt was reasonable for the quality and service. The place was clean and tidy and the staff were all friendly My photos didn't come out very well, I only managed the starter! Pakora photo, which tasted great. I can't wait to go back again Parking: 2 3 pounds for a few hours, card or cash at the pay machine Wheelchair accessibility: Access into the restaurant seemed ok, but please not this when you're booking. I'm not sure if there is a downstairs toilet, there may be for disabled."

The restaurant was great – nice, pleasant, and the food was tasty. I will definitely be coming back. The dine-in service was good, and the atmosphere was inviting. The price per person for dinner was around £30-40. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, service a 3, and atmosphere a 4.

We recently ordered takeout from this restaurant for a group of family and friends. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even with my multiple calls and changes to the order. The quality of the food was fantastic, with everything being well balanced and fresh. Our group, who considers themselves "curry savvy", was extremely impressed with the portion sizes, flavors, and quality of ingredients. The meal rounded off a great day for everyone and we will definitely be ordering from them again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This is a nice place to visit with plenty of free parking, but there are no Blue Badge spaces available. The interior is tastefully decorated and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and the background music is at a level where conversation is easy. The menu has a variety of options at reasonable prices. Our party of 12 was served promptly and efficiently. Some guests may be disappointed by the lack of a covered smoking area and wheelchair users may find it difficult to navigate inside. The toilets are located on the first floor, which may be a challenge for some. Overall, everyone in our group enjoyed the food with no complaints.
