"3 restaurants in Valmadrera, one stupidly expensive so I tried Drera and the one next to it, sadly the better restaurant. I see from other reviews that they seem to have a problem with foreigners and although the waitress was charming her boss was actually rude and I had to (nicely) let her know her attitude wasn 't acceptable. I started with fish cannelloni, very nice but 6 very small tubes, with no discernible flavour. Then onto their take of veal milanese. There were 5 or six small medallions of veal sat on I think black pudding with a crispy medallion on top. Nice presentation but it didn 't taste of anything. There were two teaspoon full servings of a lovely tomato puree but it wasn 't nearly enough to save the dish and coupled with the small starter I left hungry. I titled this confused as I think they may have mistaken what they are doing as fine dining, it isn 't. Perhaps the pizza 's are nice but that 's not what I travel 800 miles for."

intimate place, clean and organized, friendly and helpful staff, great pizza and unmissable desserts! there is also the possibility to buy some products or stop even just for a coffee

aperitif in sailboat, extraordinary special and sought-after dishes, served with care of the details also by boat where you know that the space is limited. a tour of the beauty of the lake cradled by the waves and the wind. really a great idea at very good prices! really recommended!

This is the kind of place you don’t want to go to! Service is friendly but the kitchen is not slow, it’s eternal (we have been to it twice, giving them a second chance, never again!! . They can take more than one hour to an hour and a half to serve you a plate or gnocchi (hard as a rock and tasteless! and another hour to get a seafood dish, barely decent. We will never go back to it again!

bistrot a valmadreta (lc) very intimate and refined where you can get from breakfast to dinner with a wonderful view of the lake. the menu is very varied and there is a wide choice between fish and earth dishes. place of vote: in guacamole com stracciatella of beef with truffle and hazelnut prices are right and the dishes were good and well presented. really quiet and relaxing location in the small bay of pare'. very well-kept service by staff. you eat very well unconventional dishes, of excellent quality also for celiacs and pizzas very good also without gluten. wine cellar wide . the room has some inside other outside under white sails and then. a delicious drink, also available in late autumn) where lunch and dinner. perfect cleaning throughout. to try also for an aperitif along the lake.
