Duel In The Sun - Carta

This was our first time in the duel in the sun was absolutely stunning and amazing foyer that I could just imagine a big Christmas tree in lol

Battled to actually get our table after being told only hotel guests and members were allowed. Food average, service poor. Left with our plates still on the table. Ver carta

we loved the setting that were amazing from the table. eating was very good. a bit overpriced, but it is a hotel connected restaurant so that we didn't expect anything else.

We arrived late as we were caught in traffic , staff were amazing and actually stayed on to ensure we got our dinner , they even offered to take a photo of myself and my partner together , , food was excellent also

I waited about 10 Mins to pay for my 2 coffees. The waitress let 3 people ouch infront of me. She wasn’t listening and asked me 3 x if I was paying by card. I was standing with it in my hand. We asked for shortbread with the coffee. I am still waiting for it 5 hours later. Might be a 5 star hotel but £11 for 2 very small cappuccinos. Not impressed at all. Ver carta

this place is really a jewel, we had a family dinner here today and eating was fantastic. my little boy was mad that he garlauchbrot instead of just brot, our server went and got him brot and butter very fast and made his day and his meal. personal, where very friendly, eating was immediately served, which makes with a small child the dinge so much easier. we are going to re-enter here

not up to usual turnberry experiences or standards. food order not correctly and courts arrived at various times. it felt as though the employees were all very nervous, didn't really know what they did and on their first day on the job. Unfortunately, children can't run 5 star institutions. the price of eating did not come near value for money. the disappointment as a turnberry is one of my favorite places to visit. Hope management pick them up and take immediate action.

The room was very cool/cold. The waiter appeared very disappointed we were not ordering anything alcoholic. We both ordered the grill, which arrived on cool plates, toast was also delivered, but no side plates or knives, therefore having to use dinner knives for rock hard butter. Tried for some time to attract attention of staff ,for more butter, but they were too busy in conversation. The staff were totally untrained and devoid of personality. We visited this restaurant approx two months ago and the staff were so welcoming and attentive, we really could not believe it was same place Ver carta
