Eden Bar Restaurant

The restaurant was empty yet service was very slow. Under the fish was like mush the starters was lovely but let down by the main.

Myself and my partner came here for an early valentines Meal. The food and service were excellent. Have also recommended Eden to friends to go along and try it. Will definitely be back thank you

Great food and fantastic service. Would have been a five star review if it were not foe the fact the toilets were poor. No loo roll in the womens and hand drier not working. Hand drier hanging off the wall in the gents and toilet blocked. Ver carta

Menu had something for everyone, my boyfriend had the pork he said the crackling was amazing. Young waitress was very helpful with menu. It wasn't very busy for a Friday night, which is really sad as the food is amazing, hope customers keep coming would be a shame to loose this gem.

Need to do some staff training or recruit competent staff. Manager dodnt have a clue what was going on, service was horrendous. 3 tables in and we waited 45 mins for lunch whilst the manager who was on shift sat and had his before serving paying customers! The place will be closed within 6months through lack of enthusiasm, training and poor turnover!!

I used to be a regular when this place was called Lucca, so I thought I'd try it out for my husband's birthday. It was reasonably busy, but there weren't enough good staff to handle the crowd. We were seated by bar staff who seemed disinterested and made it clear it wasn't their job. I had to repeat our drink order to two different waiters, and after nearly an hour of waiting, I had to ask to place our food order. The food didn't meet expectations either. Pre booked a table and placed outside the disabled toilet. View of people going in and coming out and the door did not close properly. Asked to move, which they did. Ordered food and portions smaller than previous visit. Asked 3 different staff for a desert menu and no one came back with one. Table next to us ordered a desert after also asking several times, and then eventually cancelled order as told their desert had not been put through. They left. For a meal costing almost £100, one would expect drinks to be served at the table, but that was not the case here. We had to wait 5 to 10 minutes at the bar just to get a drink with our meal, which felt unacceptable given the prices charged. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lackluster; other couples were complaining about the poor service and bickering over who arrived first, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. After waiting about three minutes at the entry, Callie beckoned us over from the bar in a rather erratic manner. The interaction was confusing and awkward; we felt like we were constantly trying to navigate the experience.
