"We visited on the Santa Sunday, whilst the food was nice we were shocked at the value for money. Firstly it was advertised as having reindeer, petting friends and bouncy castle. There weren’t any other animals apart from the reindeer so the reindeer visit was short and sweet. We had two slightly older children who were worried about hurting the babies on the bouncy castle so they didn’t get to go on that either. The youngest child’s 2 course meal was £12.50 while the older one was £25. £25 for a child’s meal the same size as the younger child and a scoop of ice cream. Of course this price included a Santa gift but a small puzzle for the younger child and a selection box that has an rrp of £2.49 wasn’t really worth the extra cost. Adults were £42.50 for a 3 course meal. After google searches this seems to be amongst the highest price for a Santa Sunday in NI. We’ll unfortunately be looking elsewhere next year."

"I had the pleasure of running a 3 day golf event at Edenmore between the 06 and 09 September 2022. From the initial planning of this event it was clear that the manager and all his staff had the whole thing set up to such a high standard that I knew we were going to be well looked after in all areas. Firstly the golf course was in immaculate condition. The new greenkeeper has surpassed his level of expertise in producing a totally stunning course in top class condition. The course was superbly green and well cut all over. Fairways were great to play off and the greens were slick . . .but difficult at times. It is quite a difficult track off the white tees and you really need to manage your way round . . . .but everyone who played during teh event commented on how brilliant the course was. The food that we received throughout our 3 days was excellent. A varied menu which catered for all tastes. Large Ulster fry went down well with most, and all the other food on offer was delicious and extremely well presented. The food for the gala prize giving dinner was off the scale and talked about by all who sat down. They now have a number of rooms for accommodation. These are brand new and are excellent. I had my team stay in these rooms and again they are first class. No need to travel back and forth to play golf, or drink and dine in the clubhouse. The service from the manager and a ll his staff was 5 star. Nothing was any trouble to them and they all went out of their way to ensure that we were all looked after superbly well. I fully recommend a visit to this golf club, even if you are not playing a round, the food in the restaurant is excellent. You can now stay and play which makes this venue a whole lot more appealing to golf societies. The new accommodation has totally changed how you can visit this course and have the best time ever. I cannot recommend Edenmore Golf Club highly enough. A must visit course when you are in Northern Ireland. You will always have the best of welcomes from Josh Logan and all his team at this place. Simply superb!!"

"Had lunch here yesterday with my friend. We were 10 mins late but wasn't a problem to them. From we entered the staff were very friendly and all very attentive. The lovely Sharon looked after us and was professional yet friendly and welcoming. We had the specials of venison sausages and cod with herb crust...I think our empty plates showed how much we loved it. We had some of the homemade vegetable crisps while waiting on our main and these were just amazing!! My friend had rice pudding for dessert which she said was just gorgeous...followed by 2 lattes and 2hrs 15 mins later our waitress Sharon was more than happy to show us the rest of the building as my friend is planning on booking dinner. Having loved Cleneghans before, I can only say if I could I would give more stars and it definitely hasn't lost its charm. Good luck with everything and we will definitely be back. :"

"we consider this as a special event restaurant it is really very expensive, but eating is nice. they have a great wine card and cocktails and service was good. I had previously thought that this had dropped a little while last lunch, but the dinner staff was prompt and attentive. they have included what a garden was back in the past, so the place is much bigger. there was no one who sat in this antidote when we left, and it was empty and a little strange looking. they all held in front and we were close to this area so it was a bit creepy. they could diners scatter a bit wider to make it less."

"I normally visit for Sunday lunch, on those occasions it 's give stars across the board, but my recent experience was on a Friday night. Place was reasonably busy, table booked for early evening, got there early and shown to my table, ordered drinks and food. When ordering the server talked over my kid when ordering his food and didn 't take down his specific dietary requirements.... Starters arrived quickly and were fantastic, went to order more drinks and was met by an unnecessarily cheeky younger waitress who got very pedantic about a water jug or water bottle when we asked for more of what we already had. On reflection it was just cheeky and rude and somewhat soured the night. Sadly food took about an hour to arrive after starters and sadly my sons food was incorrect, the talking over him had ignored the 'no mayo ' request he was trying to convey. When asked if everything was OK I asked for it to be fixed and they did, but got a distinct displeasure from the original server who had not listened. Otherwise, food was good but when spending £130 for pub grub you don 't really expect the long wait and rude staff. We 'll probably go to the other pub in the village now and only visit pm 's on a Sunday in quiet times."
