"Amazing little local pub which has won many awards in recent years. The new owners have kept the olde worlde charm whilst giving it a facelift and making it more up-to-date and relevant. I counted 5 different dogs in there with their owners and the lads at the bar made us instantly feel at home. With so many local pubs going out of business in rural areas its refreshing to see one thriving and do better than it did 20 years ago. Top place!"

Good old fashioned pub, food good but my friends fish and chips were served in a bowl! Why? My ham and cheese toastie was fine, once I'd removed one layer of ridiculously thick bread. Atmosphere slightly spoiled by a few young men whose language left a little to be desired.

Lovely village pub! Quite hard to find at first, but it’s worth it! Staff are very friendly, and the food is out of this world. Hats off to the Chef, absolutely fantastic. The Pizza I had was better than pizza I’ve had in most Italian restaurants and the homemade handcut chips were sublime! Will be coming again, of course!
