"Last night four of us went to El Castillo for a meal and I’m so glad we did. It was very quiet so we had a choice of table and chose outside. As we settled we were offered drinks which came promptly. The menu was displayed on 2 blackboards and put at the end of the table. The menu has been reduced but there was something for everyone thanks to Darren the chef. We chose calamares with patatas bravas to share as a starter and I must say the calamares were delicious! Crispy on the outside but still soft inside and the dipping sauce was awesome. Lime and ginger ! For the main course two of us ordered pork cheeks which came with veg and Parmesan mash, one had Red Thai curry homemade and also a scampi and chips. The pork cheeks were served on the bone with steamed cabbage portion and carrot, mash and a rich sauce. I struggled to finish it! The same went for the curry and scampi. Worth mentioning home made fat chips crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. Perfect. We had no room for a dessert which was disappointing but never mind hopefully we can squeeze in another visit soon. Well done to Lucy and her team for trying to start up running a bar/restaurant in these very difficult times. Keep on going as you are and hopefully you will succeed. I certainly recommend this place, it’s open lunchtime for snacks but possibly ring before going to make sure they’re open. Addaia was so very very quiet last night as is the whole island. Many thanks once again."

Great,busy bar. Had food here a couple of times. Food was ok, but pricey for what it was. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, couldn’t fault them at all. Large British contingent who all seem to love the place.

Buen ajuste. Personal muy atento. Buena elección de comida con especialidades diarias adicionales. Gran selección de bebidas y cócteles. Visitado más de una vez durante nuestras semanas estancia . Bueno vale la pena una visita.

Una gran noche. La comida es buena, el servicio es bueno, el personal es amigable. Volveré de nuevo. También vale la pena probar sus cócteles. El martini expresso es muy bueno, al igual que el mojito y las margaritas congeladas.

Really nice place to sit and relax with a beer in hand! The owners had only just taken over from this so some areas needed a little improvement BUT they were working hard to make everyone enjoy what they had to offer. Would go back to see how they have got on.

Wow lovely bar in a great setting. The food is very well priced for the portion sizes and quality, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the fish and chips. The piece of fish was huge and lightly battered, homemelade chips aswell.

We visited El Castillo several times this week and thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips, curry and burger . We tried the chocolate brownie for desert and I must say it’s the best I’ve ever tasted and I’ve tried hundreds over the years, it was delicious !! We couldn’t persuade the staff to give us the recipe but understand a local resident ‘Sharon’ makes them….well done, a truly fabulous brownie

Aunque nos detuvimos al otro lado de la carretera desde aquí, no nos aventuramos a cruzar hasta el tercer día para tomar algo, ¡y luego no dejamos de volver! ¡Ambiente encantador, tenían un saxofonista en vivo una noche que hizo que la gente se pusiera a bailar! También comimos aquí una noche y ¡las papas cargadas son imprescindibles! Personal muy amable y definitivamente volveremos cuando volvamos.

El Castillo ha cambiado de manos (de nuevo) y ahora está bajo la dirección de una pareja encantadora, Daniel y Aitana, ayudado por un gran camarero, Marco. El menú está mucho mejorado, más español. Finalmente una hamburguesa viene con patatas fritas, a diferencia del año pasado cuando las papas fritas eran extras! La comida es muy buena, aunque las porciones a veces pueden ser un poco grandes y exageradas. Los precios suben un poco el año pasado. Asegúrate de mirar la lista de vinos y no sólo pide al camarero una botella! Anoche tenía música en vivo, un brillante saxofón. El Castillo revampado es una adición bienvenida a Addaia.
