"I went to the hotel with a spa gift voucher menu. Spa smaller than expected (a few typical spa buttons not working). The menu, very sad. My companion could not eat the Cantabrian tuna, as it was in poor condition (probably a broken cold chain). The same thing happened to the table next to us (the bonitos returned because they were itchy, and the color was strange). It already struck us that the dining room was so empty, but now we understand it. Poor Paula (waitress), was the best of the day, offering us something else, and serving 10. Not to return."

Pretentious beyond measure. The only good thing is the presentation of the dishes, but the meat was tough, the garnishes cold (you could tell they had reheated it) and it also made our stomachs feel terrible. Worst of all is having paid an expensive restaurant price for a lousy quality of food, just for being the restaurant of Zen Balagares. I do not recommend it at all.

We have stayed at the hotel for work. The hotel is very good, but the restaurant is shameful. On Sunday they gave me a dish of hake in green sauce that was not green sauce, nor did hake taste good and they changed it for a dish called sirloin ingot that was literally like wet cat food. My colleagues ordered cachopo and it was pretty bad, being in Asturias it's incredible. The hotel bar has dishes and is even scarier than the restaurant.
