Had a T bone steak and the Mrs had a rack of ribs both-cooked to perfection and the service was good when we were there it was packed but we still never waited long for our meals..clean tidy Happy Days

Visitamos este restaurante en nuestra primera noche de nuestra semana en Lanzarote, quedamos un poco decepcionados. La camarera gruñona de mediana edad no creó un buen ambiente, y en general la comida no era muy auténtica mexicana. ¡No fue un buen comienzo!

Una vez más estoy escribiendo sobre este restaurante, es verdaderamente increíble. Fuimos dos veces, en mi primera noche y en mi última noche. Cuando llegamos la segunda noche, había una cola, pero no esperamos mucho tiempo, eso es lo bueno que es. El servicio fue genial y muy amigable, fue increíble. ¡Lo recomiendo mucho! what a gem of a place this is,came across it last year and even thou we were staying the other side of town this year had to vist again they do a three course set menu that incudes the best garlic prawns I have ever eaten,sirloin steak,lamb chops and ice cream and coffee all for 10.95.as others have stated everytime we have eaten here we have been the only customers which at first was a bit worrying but don't be put off great welcome and great food here.

El año pasado vinimos aquí y tuvimos una buena comida, así que en cuanto volvió a abrir reservamos una mesa. Es un restaurante muy bonito con un gran ambiente, desafortunadamente la comida no estuvo a la altura. Compartimos un plato mexicano para dos por €27.95, con fajitas, burritos, etc. y lamentablemente fue un poco decepcionante. No había salsas, crema agria o guacamole para acompañar el arroz y los frijoles, y el resto estaba un poco insípido, necesitaba más picante y alguna salsa. Una lástima...

We always find the best food anywhere is away from the main tourist areas and we found this next door to the Mucky Duck (good bar) after a visit there to watch the six nations rugby. The food, service and cocktails were probably the best we've had in PDC in 3 visits. We only have 4 nights left but will go back again before we leave. We were the only guests which may be the time of year, other reviews have mentioned it being busier in the main season and it really does deserves a bigger clientele it doesn't come up when you search mexican food on Tripadviser and I had to search by name to write a review! if you are in PDC do go and give it a try, you won't regret it. Had 2 delicious meals here last week and a take away pizza yesterday The staff are amazing ,helpful, polite , greet you with a welcome and a smile Janis Jesus know there dishes and happy to give advice, we sat upstairs where the view over the harbour is Amazing The owner also pops in to make sure you are pleased with everything The chefs Welcome remember you to the staff are very passionate about your happiness and enjoyment un like some in Playa Blanca The food was delicious so visited more than once ,prices are good too We visit Playa Blanca every year so will return Well worth a visit highly recommend Thank you all at Tex-Mex Keep up the good work Love Julie Steve

Love this place. Walked passed so many times and didn't really notice it. Decided to try as we were both too tired to walk the Avenida. So glad we did. It was quiet just the two of us) but the service was first class- the food came quickly and was superb. Best Mexican I have had for a few years). The chef kept looking through the pass to see our reaction to his cooking- he wasn't disappointed. Popped in with family, and there’s a decent selection of food. We ordered the littlun a dish from the kids menu, which was described at fish slices, but it was the cheapest floor scrapings in a bread crumb. They were kind enough not to charge us, and she opted for the fillet steak instead. It came rare as requested, and was a decent cut. The wife had mushroom sauce with her steak, which tasted of raw flour. Basic mistake. I had a mix grill: more like mixed jerk. As everything was overdone. The mother-in-law had the chilli.
