Been coming here for over 5 years and have never had a bad meal or any bad service from the chip shop! Won’t go no where else we love the food

This restaurant definitely offers the best mixed kebab around. The service is excellent, and we opted for take-out for our dinner. The price per person is between £10-£20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect rating of 5.

Very nice dinner. Had fish, battered small sausage, chips and curry sauce. My only issue was the curry sauce was too runny, and no body. Otherwise hot and delicious. I order regularly at Ellistown Chippy and I must say, it was an absolutely phenomenal experience every time! The crown jewel of their menu is undoubtedly the donor kebab, which, in my humble opinion, reigns supreme in the entire area. What truly sets Ellistown Chippy apart is their unwavering commitment to freshness. Every bite of their food bursts with flavor, and you can tell that they take immense pride in serving only the best to their customers. Furthermore, the atmosphere of the place is great and the staff espeisally Jay is friendly and knows most people by name. That’s great service in my eyes. Terrible customer service, don't bother. I ordered a meal through Deliveroo with an estimated delivery time of 20-30 minutes. After waiting an hour and a half with no food in sight, I called and spoke to a polite and understanding young man who informed me that the food would be another 20 minutes due to it being very busy. I expressed my frustration at the lack of communication and the fact that it would have been nearly 2 hours since I placed my order. An older man (presumably the owner or manager) then got on the phone and insisted that it normally takes 45 minutes for delivery anyway, completely disregarding the fact that I had already been waiting double that time.
