beautiful classic restaurant. the price is correct. but you should not go with expectation to eat cheap. but you want to eat nice and not cheap! we stayed several times for dinner and celebrated in 2019 and were not disappointed. a great menu!

Wir waren heute zu viert zum ersten Mal Em Krützche essen. Es wird nicht das letzte mal gewesen sein. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service sehr freundlich. Wir haben das Restaurant aufgrund des Eintrags im Slow Food Guide Deutschlands besucht und wurden absolut nicht enttäuscht. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend!

I wish I would have taken pictures but it was so good I couldn't quit eating it. My husband got sausages with a cooked cabbage in a cream sauce, I do not like cooked cabbage but it was great. I got the schnitzel, wonderful, not greasy, my first time trying, I don't think any will ever compare. It came with a bib lettuce salad and fried potatoes, again not greasy and perfect!

Great views of the Rhine River and of the people strolling through Altstadt (Old Town). The best thing here is the Wienerschnitzel and potatoes. It's to die for. We've eaten here multiple times, and everything on the menu is outstanding. Also try the Bitburger pils beer... it's their standard beer here, and it comes in a larger glass than the ubiquitous Kölsch mini glass. Service is typical of Germany so don't come here in a rush.
