Best Ethiopian I've had in South London. Amazing people, amazing food! Don't understand why there are so few reviews.

I've been coming here for years and it's the best Ethiopian I've found in the Lambeth area. Don't hesitate, if it's new for you get a mix platter and you'll be very happy.

This was our first experience with this cuisine, and the waiter was very helpful in guiding us on what to order and how to enjoy the dishes! The flavors were delicious and incredibly appealing. We enjoyed it very much!

Delicious food, comfortable and cosy atmosphere, highly recommended if you want a quick escape from London whilst in London! Samosas are delicious, great Ethiopian beers, stunningly rich coffee and the menu is full of authentic and tasty dishes!

Had a platter with a variety of meat options to try out the different flavours and a couple of them were brilliant, the others were still good. Waiter was very helpful, and understood the desire to try authentic cuisine and beer. He was just a little hard to get his attention after being served, but no drama. Ver carta

Convenient location right next to nine elms. Very friendly and welcoming staff, clean, amazing portions, delicious flavours, and great value for how much food you get and the quality. We will definitely be back next time we are in London. P.s the platter for two is huuuuuuge (photo attached to demonstrate this) so if you aren't very hungry or don't eat much you may want to just go for a single dish.

The best Ethiopian Restaurant in the South London area, and quite possibly in London. This is definitely the place to come if you wish to eat authentic and traditional Gurage Kitfo! The food is brilliant, the owners and staff members are incredibly welcoming and friendly, high-quality customer service, reasonable prices, and the atmosphere makes you feel as if you're in Ethiopia (if you've ever been you'll know what I mean). Totally a 5 star restaurant.

I enjoyed some truly delightful Ethiopian cuisine after climbing at Vauxwall West near Nine Elms yesterday. I opted for the Kitfo special, which has been praised in many reviews—it's spiced raw beef (essentially tartare) served with Ethiopian butter on Injera and accompanied by cottage cheese. It was absolutely delicious! My friend ordered the mixed meat platter for one, which featured two types of lamb and beef. It was an excellent value, and everything was fresh and flavorful! The host was professional and polite as well; I would certainly come back! Update 10/21/22: I celebrated my birthday here, and once again, the food was fantastic.
