"General It is a hotel with restaurant, pub and beer garden. You can rent apartments on time. From schools, kindergartens to festivals and celebrations everything is provided: an eager woollen michsau. My old buddy wanted to talk to me just before his holiday and eat something. It should be in the left-Rhine Cologne; so that the approach should be easy and quick. There were not so many possibilities. Many locals made holidays or did not open the day. At the end there was the Erker Hof – there are mills of Kölsch from the barrel. Ambiente Since registration is requested on the homepage, we have reserved two places. We didn't have been inside, but stayed on the covered terrace. There were only few guests there. The interiors were not occupied. To the toilet you have to go through the rooms. But we didn't pick them up. Outside it looked like a beer garden. Tables and chairs stable. The facility as a whole is rustic and practical. Cleanliness Everything was well maintained. Sanitary Inside – Not Wanted. Service Two women provided the guests. They were friendly and attentive. Also wishes for the food change of ingredients were possible. In the end, even “Tellerreste” were packed to take away the main dishes were actually quite lush in the crowd. The card n There is a weekly card, a surprise menu in several courses 3,4 or 5 and single dishes. The tasted foods of mixed appetizers from 2 persons p.p. 7,90 € On the way, bread and a quark cream were served. On the plate were Mediterranean vegetables, meat and sea animals. The vegetarian parts were grilled or steamed. Small tomatoes were filled with cream. Some parts were wrapped in crispy bacon. Salad made partly formed the base on the plate. Then there were small shrimps, pulpo pieces and Vitello Tonnato with tuna pieces. This was quite varied and as an appetizer for two people completely fine. Tyrolean schnitzel with pifferlings, stick sponges, cheese baked with roast potatoes and mixed salad €19.90 The scavenger was panned and then covered with mushrooms. At the top was the slice of cheese, which was slightly grilled on the surface. The roasted potatoes were slightly fried; not especially crispy but properly seasoned. The mixed salad consisted of tomatoes, peppers, carrots, cucumbers and fresh leaves. The dressing was a bright simple sauce. A decent portion. Mediterranean beef strips with paprika, onions, tomatoes with sliver noodles and mixed salad €19.90 The meat pieces were marinated, relatively tender but already roasted. The vegetables were cooked or roasted. For me the paprika was replaced by zucchini. It looked like ratatouille – maybe with a little more dark sauce than usual. The vegetables were relatively soft, but picantly seasoned. The supplemental salad looked as described above. The noodles were fine – they were served pure, decorated with some greenery. So the food was rustic, lush and seasoned. It tasted – but there were also small surprises everything was neat and good. Beverages Mills Kölsch – 2,00 € per glass It smells slightly broached. The Antrunk is pleasantly hoppery and the slim body brings floral malt that forms a pleasant unit with the hops. So it's nicely juicy and delicious and refreshing in summer. Price performance ratio The prices were quite appropriate; it was small bargains but I have already had to pay more for such dishes. Conclusion 3 – if it results. The portions were big, the food was degreasy. I wouldn't go extra for it. But if you're in the area, you can eat neat and plentiful. 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it arises again, 4 – happy again, 5 – necessarily again – after “Kuechenreise” Date of visit: 12.08.2022 – evening – 2 persons My enjoyable experiences are also with [here link] Total – Service – Cleanliness – Essen – Ambiente P L V 3.5 4 3.5 3 3.5"
