The service was good and the tacos were great! The drinks were very good. The only thing was the tacos were a slightly small portion for the price.

Great drinks, good food, very friendly service! Reccomend for a night out! Selection of margaritas and tequila version of popular drinks is amazing, although if you are not a fan of tequila based drinks you can still find a reasonable choice.

wow! I've never been before and I love doing it absolutely mexicanically, so was worried that it wasn't as good! oh, as I was wrong. the service was excellent and eating was simply beautiful. I will go back as soon as I can the chips were nice and had a nice season on them too!

Escobar has everything you need, extensive cocktail list, great atmosphere and amazing food! The staff are attentive and friendly, we are vegan and they made sure everything was animal free for us! Highly recommend trying a few different cocktails and the jackfruit tacos were delicious!

A great place for Mexican food and drinks. It does get busy in the evenings so worth booking a table. We ended up eating here twice while staying in Inverness. After enjoying ourselves and the food on the first visit we decided to go back for more! The staff were friendly and helpful, Service was prompt.

highly recommended to go here. eating was excellent and the drinks, especially the margarita was amazing. the service was brilliant, including recommended by the owner manager. we ordered tacos, nachos, chimichanga and margaritas (very berry and mango were the best) and everything was great. the place is very dog friendly and had water dishes for dogs.

Lured in by the cool motto over the doorway, Life Without Mexican Food is No Life At All I had raised expectations, which were dashed when the queso appetizer arrived. It was cheesy salsa, so runny that it wouldn 't stick on the chip. My tacos were passible and my wife liked her fish tacos. My go-to dish is usually the mole, which is my measure of a good Mexican restaurant... the manager had no idea what mole was. If you are jonesing for good Mexican food, change latitude because it 's not in Inverness.

Been twice now, which proves it 's delicious! As close to American Tex Mex as I 've found in Scotland. On a Sunday night, it 's well quiet and a lovely, calm atmosphere to enjoy a meal. CONS: Saturday nights are quite lively (and frankly, loud and a bit chaotic), and toilets are downstairs, so they are not easily accessible for elderly and handicapable. Minus one star for those reasons. They are dog friendly! Our skittish Border Collie was very chilled out on the Sunday evening meal we had. Would NOT recommend bringing a dog in on a busy night. The food was flavorful and fresh. Perfectly sized portions where you feel you ate well, but not to excess. The Voile(n)t Unicorn margarita is divine!...
